FIXED - Was an anti-virus issue, there were no logs indicating an issue but when I disabled it suddenly the trainer worked. Go figure.

Hitting any key while SPV3.2 is running causes it to close, upon debugging this shows as exit code 0 (as in, no error).

I don't prioritize a mod - what makes you think I do? (yes 20's, following mods since I was a kid with dialup).

I operated on the assumption they wanted to release it, I guess if not then that is true - I have made many modifications for my own personal use (Fallout 4, tweaked damage and armor/hp values to make it more milsim like and power armored opponents are terrifying if not armed with explosives etc. Many days worth of editing and testing and tweaking). So I can understand that.

I just wanted to point out that there have been numerous mod teams that seemingly wanted to release a mod and got bit by hard-drive failures, copyright infringement notices 1 day before release, or unexpected game updates. And the best way to counter these is to release beta versions as you go. If the modder doesn't care about releasing it then that's another thing - and in my opinion should be stated clearly.

This mod is an example of why you should release beta versions. If it had simply been released at the time some of these screenshots were taken, people can make a copy of the game version that works out of their steam folder as a backup and make sure to only launch it in offline mode so it doesn't update.

I've done this for AS2 even if they update the game I make sure to run it only in offline mode so my mods still work. And I have a backup of it in case I screw up.
Now we face the prospect of this never being released because the devs lose interest, they could get 99.999999% done annnnnd the game can update again, they can get frustrated and quit and the world will never see this.

I've been following mods for nearly 20 years now and I've seen this time and time again, as well as takedown notices for copyright infringement (Remember HaloGen for C&C Generals?). Devs wait because they want to release a polished product and also don't want people to rip their assets, and it ends up biting them in the rear and the years of work they put in gets wasted. Just release beta versions and you save yourself. Once it's out in the world it can't be taken back.
