Turns out the issue seems to be the SteamPipe conversion. I have new downloads and a news post awaiting admin authorization that should fix the problem.
I had to update the gameinfo.txt to work with the new SteamPipe format.
As soon as the downloads are authorized, download it and let me know if it works.
Hmm, I can't seem to find a solution. But you can still play the maps by copying them to Episode 2 and manually starting them.
Copy the "station51_1.bsp" and "station51_2.bsp" files from the "\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\station51\maps" folder into your Episode 2 map folder, located at "Program Files\Steam\steamapps\*YOUR STEAM ID HERE*\half-life 2 episode two\ep2\maps".
After copying the map files over, start Episode 2, open the console with the tilde (~) key, and type "map station51_1" without the quotes. This should bring up the map.
If tilde doesn't bring up the console, go to: Options > Keyboard > Advanced > Enable Developer Console (~), and check this box to enable the console.
This should let you run the maps. The only difference is it will run the Episode 2 credits at the end instead of mine, but you're not missing much.
Sorry for the trouble, hopefully this at least lets you play the maps.
Hmm, this is an odd bug. Maybe try and verify your HL2:EP2 cache? Right click on HL2:EP2 in your Library, then go to Properties>Local Files and click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache".
Thanks! I'm going back and reworking the second map, I've gotten a lot of great feedback since the release. I agree it's a little sparse in places. I'm also reworking how I handle enemy spawns, to make sure they behave a little more intelligently and don't mob up in nasty groups.

Thanks! I was thinking of a from scratch game, but I'd miss the art assets ready to go and drop in that a mod would give me.

Yep! Tweaked that map based on feedback, and added another larger map after, and I'm packaging them together as a mod.
