Is anyone else having issues with excommunication? I am on my fourth successive ruler who has been excommunicated arbitrarily either shortly after they inherit or before they inherit. I have noticed almost all of the Lord Paramount's are being excommunicated all over the place with seemingly no reason behind the excommunication. It has gotten to the point where I have reduced the excommunication malus dramatically just to make it manageable.

For anyone still interested in playing with more Valyrian Weapons I have whipped up this submod :

Ajgurms2341 As far as I am aware the raiding is not a glitch but intended behaviour. If you check the person leading the hosts they are probably of the Ironborn culture group and that is why they are raiding. I expect this is to simulate the raiding that the Ironborn are famous for in Canon.

As for the vassals hating you, I haven't noticed this issue personally. Have you checked the opinion modifiers to see what is causing it? The only thing I can think of is that the large number of Kingdoms and Duchies will result in a lot of "Desires the ###### of ######" modifiers if you hoard titles.

I ended up changing it to:

house;Great House;;;;;;;;;x,,,
house_desc;This character is a descendant of the great house [Father.Father.Father.GetOnlyDynastyName].;;;;;;;;;x,,

This changes the trait name to just "Great House" rather than giving the particular house in the trait name but keeps the specific house in the description and removes the code from the opinion modifier name which is a happy medium for me.

The "Liege is House" and "House" opinion modifiers had the following code in their descriptions:

[Father.Father.Father.GetOnlyDynastyName]

I found that I could edit this out in the description section of 003_traits.csv in the Localisation folder. Does anyone know if changing this would cause issue with existing save files? Or if it serves any specific function.
