There should be a Turkish translation on TR M&B forum

Thanks Bilo, I am a big fan of the stalker games, but only discovered them after some Explorer players were talking about the similarities in our open world features. I played Anomaly and Gamma mods yes, Anomaly was always in the #1 spot on moddb around when Explorer was released.

A warband "zone" is an interesting idea, but making things like mutants with Warband engine might be a challenge...

I'm always interested in ideas if you want to elaborate on it, but the chances of me myself making any mod like that is 0. The source code is available for you to make it yourself if you wish!

The source code is available to edit as you wish. The village raiding is a much more complicated feature than the map. Porting it to another mod is not impossible or even very hard, but it would require some knowledge of M&B modding/coding.

When you enter the destination town the caravan master should be following you, you can talk to them to complete the quest. If you rest in the town before talking they will be in the Marketplace

I would suggest Swyter's cartographer to convert the map.txt to a .obj and use OpenBRF to find the complex_map object, replace it, and scale your new map

You can replace both map.txt and complex_map object in the BRF ressources to change the map. The map object needs to be scaled up a bit (6x IIRC but maybe it was ×60) and it's best to reduce poly count as much as possible (the Native map is quite low detail compared to most custom ones.)

All the moving, positioning, map icons etc is handled automatically. Sometimes the map borders can clip through terrain if the player party is at the bottom of a "bowl" so its best to remove these from map topography as much as possible.

There is some code that determines random scenes based on proximity to certain factions so I recommend keeping factions in roughly the same biome (snow/desert/grass) for best results.

Of course you have to move parties to fit the new map as well.

Tldr:
Replace map.txt with new map
Replace complex_map in BRF with map obj, scaled up
Move parties to new positions

Of course changing faction assignments or adding new parties requires downloading the source code but those changes are very easy as well.

Good luck!

Yes, but you need to edit Explorer's postfx.fx file and add this at the bottom:

#if WSE2
#include "postFX_WSE2.fx"
#endif

There is an issue with water reflections when using WSE2 and you might see error text or other minor issues (but you can disable error messages in the wse2 config). Other than that, enjoy!

They are probably wounded, or it is because of battle size if there are large parties in the area. Rest to heal party members.

Hey there,

The mac/linux version will be delayed a bit. I am trying to include some other bugfixes etc before I can release anything, but I'm a bit busy these days. I hear you though! Thank you for your patience.

Not currently compatible with Linux/MacOS, sorry.

A patch for mac and linux users might be released at the end of the month, you can 'watch' this mod for updates

Extract the compressed folder into Warband/Modules folder. More detailed install instructions can be found in the file descriptions (there are also many guides and videos online for installing warband mods)

Hey Erzya :) nice to hear from you again

I am trying to work on a standalone game, though it will not exactly be a direct copy of Warband/Explorer. I think further in the future I would like to develop something of a similar scope as this mod, but it is a lot of work for a solo dev. I do agree that the subdivided open world is a good system, especially when the global NPC populations are in the multiple thousands (whereas most open world games have populations only in the hundreds.) I think in 2022 for a new title a seamless transition is something most players expect - no loading screens every 1km. I think a mod like Explorer will probably be created for Bannerlord some day, though probably not by me!

The alleys are more of an easter egg since the bandit campaign quests were unfinished. Maybe the quest bandit will rest in town and can be found in the alley, but you won't be able to fight them there.

The mayor should have given you information on the bandits location, and it will be in the bandit characters page in Notes. They should spawn within 4 miles of the town, but they do move around after spawning. You can get updated info on nearby parties from village elders, there is some error text but it should still work. Usually the bandits will be close to town.

Thank you for asking!

Hi Apstinentas! Thanks for asking

The compass cannot be toggled off, but sometimes a bug can make it disappear... If you open lots of "presentations" like the map, or leave area fadeout, maybe you could do the bug on purpose...

Beards have an issue with the alpha blending, they dont look as soft as Native without the transparency. It shouldnt look "really strange", though, apart from maybe the stubble-y beards

Hi friend

Every enemy killed by the player will drop a box that can be broken to get loot. You can also see items looted by your companions in the Party Overseer (P key)

This might happen with low end PCs, you need at least 8GB RAM to run this mod. Uncheck 'load textures on demand' in launcher config can help by preloading textures.

Hmm, your specs should be well beyond enough. In the launcher Config make sure to UNcheck 'load textures on demand'. After picking a banner the game initiates the start scripts and begins loading the first town scene - a crash here usually means low RAM or processing power but that shouldn't be the case here.

If you cannot get it to work try starting a game in the Kingdom of Rhodoks, they don't have the mega-large town scenes so loading should be much easier. If it is still crashing 100% after this, try reinstalling the mod or if you have Warband through steam you can use the Workshop version of Explorer.

Launching with/without WSE may also be better or worse on different systems.

I hope this helps!
