I'm a software engineering university student and in my spare time I love developing horror video games. I frequently update my website blog about the crazy development woes I find myself in regarding the upcoming games I'm working on.

Thanks for making a Let's Play, and thanks for giving Avian a shot! Be warned, the game is difficult and it will try to trick you, the game is really over when you get the credits screen. Regarding the cross stone puzzle, there is a hint in the room where you found the batteries, there is a note in one of the file cabinets which will help you solve the puzzle. Best of luck!

Hi, thanks for making an awesome Let's Play, and thanks for playing Avian! Regarding the key in the flesh room with the timed escape, no there was no key. It was a cheeky trick from my side. Truth be told, in the alpha version there was a key and when you unlocked the door the monster would chase after you, I removed it since the hallways in level 1 were a bit too tight and you couldn't really dodge him.

Just a reminder that the readme file instruction is just a guideline on how to set up the game to work best in general. However you need to fine tweak it according to your system specification.

Try using WinRAR, it seems to work for most people. Some people do have trouble opening it with 7-zip, don't know why though. Install WinRAR, and then right click on the archive and choose "Extract to Avian-Windows\", it's the easiest way to do it in my opinion. By the way, I would highly recommend reading the readme file in the archive, it has a lot of useful installation and configuration instructions so the game runs smoothly. Good luck!
