I was unaware people were still making Custom Stories... never have I clicked "download" so fast! The preview images you posted look super promising too so I'm really looking forward to this :D

There is a room where you may leave the game when you have visited everything you wish :) Should be easy to tell which one: very red, got a window on the opposite wall, a desk with an open book.

So this patch breaks the game a little bit. Makes half the map unreachable. There'll be a new patch up soon; leave it to me to break a game more than fix it with a patch!

The issue with the crashes is due to HPL2 engine limits. While running, the program can only use a certain numer of callback functions (close to 7500) in total - not per map, but over the whole session. Because Streets of London is so large and has so many scripted events, it hits this limit not once, but TWICE.

Unfortunately, the crashes are unavoidable because of this.

Hopefully that provides some greater clarity for you!

Once running, the program can only use a certain numer of callback functions (close to 7500) in total - this is over the whole session, it's not refreshed when loading new maps. Because Streets of London is so large and has so many scripted events, it hits this limit not once, but TWICE. Unfortunately, the crashes are unavoidable because of this. I suspect you'd see a similar issue if you played a great many mods in a row without quitting Amnesia.

Hopefully that provides some greater clarity for you!

Please note if you do not have version 3.01 (technically 3.19 actually, I should change that) you're missing a room and the ability to reach the end credits.

If you go up the spiral staircase and through the first two doors you see, you'll come across a room with a hole through the floor and a tree growing out of it. Hope that helps!

Try the stairs! If that doesn't work, go back to where you first found the teleporting cabinet (hallway with paintings) and jump over the tree hole or down into it. Both lead different areas.

Sorry guys, I felt like the story for this mod was very lacking and unstable, and more of movie than a game (the player was mostly witnessing past events). While I'd love to keep the maps, it would be unrealistic to use them in any upcoming projects. This mod has been discontinued :c

I was wondering if you could please explain your rating on my mod (was a 1 with "water ****" as the only thing written for the review). While I understand it wasn't the most amazing thing ever, it would be nice to know why you think it deserves a 1/10.

There's a patch without the flying naked guy. Removing him from it entirely would have been against the rules (one of which was "do not edit other people's contributions without their permission"). Hope you understand :)

The lack of puzzles/events/story will be mitigated in Abandoned Town project hopefully

Should've warned that the map's 5MB, my apologies.

I'll go tell Nikson you liked his flying Jesus scare :p

And yeah, the only story available would be from the environments themselves and observing the small details (eg: wine bottles in the room of an alcoholic character).

Just added the size and lag to the description - hopefully that helps :)

I remember that part! It worked fine for me when I played it through. The mapping was absolutely wonderful; I loved the lighting contrasts :)
