is there any hope of the mod being released before DoW1 stops working on modern operating systems?

honestly, him being a DP makes little sense

even as a full blown traitor, he looked down upon daemon angron and even defeated him in open battle

Gee, hopefully not. Let's keep the 40k sigmarines in the trash, where they belong.

Hey Alex!

Personally, i like what you're doing here. I know that literature is your field and you seem to be doing very well, in my opinion at least. Although I'm not an expert by any means, I think I know a talented writer when I see one! :)

I only wish I could get more involved, but I had to put many personal projects on the shelf, like reading, modding and other hobbies- as well as learning Russian - you know how time consuming studies *and* work can get.

Stay safe, and never stop writing!

Not that I'm complaining, but why pre-war, and pre ww1? Why bother with that instead of focusing on the good stuff?

no unfortunately, I only modded a few older games- C&C generals, M:TW, dawn of war, that kinda stuff. never tried messing with models either.

How different is hoi4 from 3 and 2 when it comes to modifying anyway?

I'd like to lend a hand, but I don't know how.
Any useful links on modding HOI4?

UA is big and impressive, but lacks balance and seems to be drifting away from lore (eg. cheap cannon-fodder Rubric marines).

I'd take FoK/PoK over it anyday.

Ahem. Raven rock is missing the port, and it's supposed to be a town, not a castle.
Also, will you be able to properly upgrade settlements (eg. villages to towns, towns to cities and so on)?

correct. it was not nearly as rare as it is in the 41st mil.
and due to its size, strength and rarity, its a viable choice for a titan.

you are right. since IoM has very few of those, those ancient and mighty behemoths would make a perfect titan. i hope the fine modding gentlemen pick it.

oh, and besides that, only ship worthy of serving as a titan, that i can think of is the Ark Mechanicus.
while its only slightly larger than regular navy battleships, its insanely advanced weapons are what make it the best non-unique ships available to the IoM.
in 'priests of mars' (spoilers, but i feel obliged to tell you), an arch magos linked himself to his ships machine spirit. as a result, it went godmode, and deployed multiple weapon systems techpriests didnt even know it was equipped with. all in all, it managed to one shot an eldar battleship despite its holofield, and a warpstorm they were fighting in.
and thats darn impressive, at least in my opinion.
hope i helped a bit :)

hell, no... its one of the regular imperial battleships, and there are untold thousands if not tens of thousands of those in each segmentum. it fulfils the role of a carrier and a fleet command ship. TEC equivalent would be sova.

these are notable battleships of the said class, that appear in several novels/codexes/rulebooks:
Divine Right - seen during the Gothic War
Dominus Astra - played a pivotal role in defeating Hive Fleet Behemoth and ending the Battle for Macragge when it entered the heart of the Tyranid fleet and detonated its Warp Drives, dragging the entire Tyranid fleet along with itself into the Warp.
Indomitable Wrath
Legatus Stygies
Lord of Light

something more titan-like would be Phalanx, but since its exact shape is never described, it would be a pain in the *** to make it a part of this mod.
