My HOMM5 ToE (no mod yet) from Steam or GoG crashes just after intro while getting to Main Menu. Black screen and instant crash. When I played last time dvd version of the game it always worked properly.
I tried running as admin, disabling fullscreen optimisation and changing compatibility to older windows.
Win11 23h2, latest Nvidia drivers, all VC++ and dx9 installed. Other games running fine.
Could someone upload config files from My Games folder as I would give it a try this way. Game creates empty folders.

I have another problem. After saving and exiting the game i launch it again and most of saves are "incompatible file version". What is going on?
