The paragraph was mostly about another game. I put just as much effort into negativity as in positivity, thank you. Meanwhile, you made a comment reacting about negativity. Maybe you should ponder that for a while and human nature's tendency to take interest in random events.

It really isn't scary. If you want more of a survival horror with similar effects but a larger immenseness, try a game like amnesia. Slenderman uses sounds and it's style to try to get the heart racing. It's a nice tactic, but very gimmicky when you have something that teleports around and makes things wig out when he's near. Amnesia, which is featured in the Desura client (and may still be $5 for the rest of the day or so), has a health and sanity system, puzzles, and plenty of experiences to play with your head.
Not to say you shouldn't play this game. I spent enough time to get all the pages. It''s reaaaaallly hard once you're near the end. Plus this game is free.

Desura uses mods and you don't have to sign in? I like Steam in general (I bought the valve collection), but that's pretty cool.
