Have you heard about Starbound? It's not re-logic but it's Tiy, the guy who I believe was responsible for the character models in Terraria, working with a group called Chucklefish. Procedurally generated worlds, but you can actually go from planet to planet. Character models look a lot better, looks a lot more interesting in general, and it's supposed to have support for Mac and LInux.
