We don't see it as a competition, and all I have ever made in this mod was because i wanted to make it.
The reason people don't come anymore is because the game is old and outdated, it's even causing problems on windows 10 for some people. And furthermore modding the game is a freaking pain for me, there are so many limitations.

Yes, it is released, if you launch the launcher it should automatically update the mod.

Are you using the last version of the mod? if so, the spgame.dat should be in the game folder not the 'root' folder of the mod ;)

Well its not really early in production, but due to several problems we have run into along the way we have had several setbacks and we have had to rewrite the entire mod's codebase. Which is why so many things may seem lacking..
It is odd though that you are unable to play a map. If you play one that has the 'voting' system the screen will be black and you will need to chose what kind of mode you want to play it via the buttons that should be in the center of the screen.

This is odd, although I have heard of problems with windows 10.

You need ROTWK to launch the mod, or you need to download the singleplayer files as mentioned in the news post of the release of the mod.

What faction did you chose?
Or do you mean in the Create a Character menu?
Also you should copy the game2.dat from BFME 2, not ROTWK :) (not that this makes a difference with what you saw)

True most things are the same as vanilla, except the elves are quite different. As for the death upon 3.5 minutes, go to:
"..\Ridder Clan\The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-Earth II - RC Mod\game\Support" and run the "The Battle for Middle-earth II - RC Mod_code.exe" and enter your BFME 2 serial. That should fix it, this is a problem that tends to occur if for some reason the installer did not get administrator rights.

Where did you install the mod?
Maybe reinstalling will solve this problem, make sure you install it with administrator rights.

Check for game2.dat in the game folder of the mod :)
If it's not there, copy it from your bfme 2 game to there.

Doesn't matter, and we advise the last version 1.06 from BFME 2 when playing the mod.

You don't have to install version 2.0, it's actually a bad idea to do so.
What happens when running the v3.0 installer?

The installer is probably old and then some virus scanners start claiming things like this... It's probably nothing, but maybe installing version 3 is a better idea...

If you have the ROTWK cd you don't need the disk image.
You should install the mod to the default directory of the installer, or simply to a location which is not the BFME 2 one.

Ok, now apart from the fact that you rated the mod a 1 without asking for any help whatsoever, i am willing to help you out, but seriously you should not rate like that, we are mod creators, not a AAA company or anything like that.

Try the RotWK cd, otherwise download the singleplayer files or use the RC Mod CD in the downloads section ;)

Crashes? What is the error?
Maybe you need to delete your Create-a-Hero save data, if you have played older versions of the mod.

It is a remade ROTWK, yes major changes to the CaH system, and if you read the description above you can see what kind of things we added faction wise :P
