OK, I learned today that 3200x1800 is the VSR limit for my GPU, even though the GPU has gotten almost 100% better since its release. So any tips would be appreciated for the best experience.

OK, well I learned something. My Radeon video card only supports 3200x1800 VSR mode for 2560x1440 @ 60Hz apparently. I tried creating a custom resolution (using CRU) so that I could select it in-game but the display went black the moment I launched the game because I forgot to change the in-game res off of 3200x1800. So I deleted the custom 3840x2160 res.

Is 3200x1800 going to be good enough, or does the mod require 4K res for VSR to work? I can try again using CRU (Custom Resolution Utility) but this time set the game back to native 1440p and recreate the 4K resolution, then reboot so the 4K custom res shows up in the game menu. That should fix the black screen. However, I suspect my GPU is not good enough for 4K rendering, which is why AMD is auto limiting me to 3200x1800. Any ideas?

P.S. Your mod and the game is working just fine, and the Q&E keys are working as it should, I just do not know if my Radeon drivers are set correctly how you intended since its all different from the NVIDIA geared instructions, except for MLAA of course. Again, I do not have Gamma Correction – Off or Anti-Aliasing Transparency – Off, and I do not have a res selection of 3840x2160 in the game menu because AMD only gives me a VSR res of 3200x1800. Thanks again!

Hello, I thought I would ask this for the AMD users out there please, because I did not see it mentioned after reading all 226 comments. So here goes. Please forgive the long post, and THANK YOU for this incredibly wonderful mod.

In the install instructions there are some settings that do not match the Radeon Adrenalin 18.8.2 settings that are offered to us. We do have "Global Settings" and "Crysis Profile Settings". But it is unclear what to do about the settings that are not present, such as Gamma Correction – Off, and Anti-Aliasing Transparency – Off. Neither of these are anywhere in the Radeon interface. So this is what I have in the Global Settings and Crysis Profile settings menus.

1. Anti-Aliasing Mode
a. Use application Settings
b. Enhance application settings
c. Override application settings
2. Anti-Aliasing Method
a. Multisampling
b. Adaptive Multisampling
c. Supersampling
3. Morphological Filtering (MLAA)
a. ON or OFF (set to ON)
4. Anisotropic Filtering Mode
a. Use application settings (Default)
b. Override application settings (This enables selectable 2x-16x AF)
5. Texture Filtering Quality
a. High, Standard or Performance
6. Surface Format Optimization
a. On or OFF (Default is ON)
7. Wait for Vertical Refresh (Just ignored for now?)
8. OpenGL Triple Buffering (Default is OFF)
9. Shader Cache
a. OFF
b. AMD Optimized (Default)
10.Tessellation Mode
a. AMD Optimized
b. Use Application Settings
c. Override Application Settings (Gives 2x - 64x)

These look like the only important settings to get right. Kany could you please make a suggestion on exactly what you would like us to set in these settings please? It would probably help all the AMD users out there greatly. My machine specs are below, and it currently gives me stock Crysis 1 performance about 90-100 FPS at 1440p maximum everything.

Asus STRIX X470-F Gaming
Ryzen 5 2600X (6C12T)
16GB DDR4 3466Mhz
SSD 960 Pro
Radeon R9 290 Vapor-X 4GB 512bit wide vram bus
Radeon Adrenalin 18.8.2 (most recent)
LG IPS 1440p 96Hz overclocked frequency (Can run up to 120Hz)
P.S. The game only offered me a max of 3200x1800 for VSR. Should I create a custom resolution in the Adrenalin drivers for 4K? Thanks again!
