Hello, thanks for playing the mod. The British control Amsterdam at the start date for a few reasons. First of which is that the same person was in control of both countries in the year 1700 (William III). Second, Medieval 2 has a hardcoded faction limit and we decided that the faction slot could better be used elsewhere. It is also important for the British to have a foothold in mainland Europe for gameplay reasons because the Medieval 2 ai struggles with naval invasions.

Hello, thanks for trying out the mod. Unfortunately, we do not have any sprites that work with our units so to make the battles look much more visually appealing, we removed all sprites. While this can come with a performance hit, we had not run into any issues from it so far. If you join the discord and contact me I can look into a solution for you.

Hi, thanks for your interest. This is actually an older version of the mod, a new version is available but in the process of uploading, so I'd stay tuned for that and feel free to uninstall this version. We are just waiting on moddb to verify the file before it's published.

Yes, it is pretty rare to crash but when they do happen it's typically during loading after a battle. Sorry about that

Hello, thanks for trying out Lucium. In the current release, the European campaign is unstable due to some issues that came up with the launcher. This has been fixed for 3.0 and the campaign will be much more stable. If you'd like something closer to the Lucium experience that we intended, I recommend the South American campaign until 3.0 comes out, it is the focal point of that release. On behalf of the dev team, we're very sorry that you had this experience, and we hope you stay tuned for a much more complete and stable Europe.

With them combined, it is essentially the same size (storage) as an individual one if we released them separately. For example, the Europe campaign is 5.75GB, the South American campaign is 5.35GB, but them combined is 7.3GB, so it is just more efficient storage-wise this way. The launcher and installer will be simplified and cleaned up for our next release, which will also be combine our South American and European campaigns.

Hello, to verify, you installed Lucium directly to the C drive, correct? Also if your Medieval 2 is named "Medieval 2 Total War Gold" then it is very likely that it made a new folder called "Medieval 2 Total War" where the mod installed. If so just cut & paste it into your Medieval 2 Total War Gold folder. If that doesn't work, PM me on discord Rennat#7337 and I'll try and help you more there.

I would recommend redownloading and trying again. A few questions, when did you download the mod? What OS are you using? I noticed an issue with the file-formatting system on older versions of Windows that caused issues when installing a file larger than 2GB or 4GB (don't remember which size FAT32 messed up on), which we will address in the next version of the mod. Lastly, in the installer the file location is given the default of the common folder of steam. Does this default show up at all or does it just skip past it to "install now"?

Hello, the uninstall000.exe and uninstall000.dat should be either in your Medieval II Total War/ or Medieval II Total War/mods/ folder. If you still have trouble, contact me on discord @ Rennat#7337 and I'll help you further there. Thanks.

Greetings my friend, if you have already tried to install it then it will automatically reinstall to the previously installed location (to make updates easier). If you use the uninstall00x.exe (Lucium icon) where x is a number, it will clear that default location and you can reinstall it with a custom directory. Let me know if you have any trouble.

Thanks for trying the mod. The time period for the Europe campaign begins in 1700, at the very end of the use of pikes in general. This mod is not intended to be pike & shot, we had some limitations model-wise for our Europe campaign that we have gotten around and a massive overhaul is in the works. If you would like to see a finished version, I recommend the South American campaign, as that was the primary focus of the latest update.

Hello, the instructions are still the same, choose the parent directory of Medieval 2. For instance, if Medieval II Total War is in your Program x86, choose the Program x86 folder and the installer will automatically move into your Medieval II folder. Hello, thanks for trying the mod. It appears that you don't have administrator privileges to this folder, you can change the owner of the folder by going back to the Medieval II Total War folder and selecting properties -> security -> advanced and granting everyone (or at least your user) full access to the folder. However, I believe that you need to be on a user with administrator privileges to do this, not entirely sure.

Thanks for trying out the mod. Don't worry, Russia is getting a huge overhaul and that is included on the todo list for 3.0, our next major update for the Europe campaign. The arabian riflemen model is being fixed in our 2.6 release which is coming very soon alongside our South American campaign. Regarding the outdated models, we are aware and were sad to have to include them but we were unable to recruit a modeler for the project but our friend at Rise of the Eagles gave us permission for some models that will make the strat-map and battle-map much more immersive (will be in South America on release, coming to Europe in 3.0).
