Playtest for Coven OB beta JULY 23rd 0000 GMT, basically a stripped down version the whole game you remember, some game modes still on the way but the OB disaster is turning out to be a blessing in disguise and this version is already more stable than the last, it seems...

Look for new content release Oct31. New maps, new classes, even more fun than you remember.

Look for more Custom Models and other content in the future. And the alltalk thought is a good possibility for a vote feature.

We are the classic "do it for fun" hobbyists so we have to do things around work schedules and the like, but look for more content and continued evolution of gameplay as we put in the new character abilities and weapons we have planned.

First thing I can suggest is make sure you check all the different games lists in the new Steam UI. It won't show up on this one but will on that one, sorta thing. If THATS not it try poking around our forums for someone with similar issue or perhaps similar experience.

Best recommendation is poke around and ask on the forums, I know some folks running 64 bit windows had had something like that happen, some also didn't tho. Check around and we will look into it.

Coven 3.1 patch awaiting Moddb approval.

Balancing, two Vampire classes.
Updated Version of Outskirts.
Cows in Cowmode worth more, Kills worth points. (Cow mode on US server)
Sundries.

Look for a patch in the next few days. Minor things, balancing/mapcontent. This will be a patch; the next character update will follow in the coming weeks.

So far 3.0 has been solid, stable, and is yielding pretty much the gameplay we wanted; expect some minor changes in the patch but for the most part nothing too major. For the next char update we have chosen a Slayer character...

Come down and check out the forums, and also if you're interested, join the Coven Steamgroup for any scheduled games/announced pick up games.

Yep new char models are in the works, and weapons modifications and models as well. Side note, anyone interested in helpin out with weapons models in particular can check out the forums in the Custom Content section for info on how to get started helpin out.
