From my personal experience, this is a point of contention that has always stuck with the franchise even since Tiberian Dawn, which is that some if not most of the units are too versatile, to the point that devs tend to make units more specialized when it came to the later titles. Even with that in mind, some units can still be highly versatile, like the Pitbull you've mentioned is still effective against both air and ground vehicles, as well as buildings after upgrading, so Refined would not prioritize in making units more versatile at the moment. Of course, some compromises might be made in the future, like maybe introducing new unit abilities which allow units to deal with emergent situations.

Personally, I don't find the single player campaigns to be too hard to beat, with or without the official patch. Nod's last mission maybe, but aren't the last missions supposed to be challenging? lol. i certainly hope my mod will make the campaigns better to play, but feel free to let me know if any of the changes make the missions too hard or even impossible to complete.

the Secret Shrine already heal (and replenish losses) Black Hands, Shadow Teams and Nod commando in version 0.2. I'm also trying to come up with more createive ways for Nod to heal their basic infantry (maybe by garrisoning in civilian structures?). Of course, if you have any ideas, I'll be glad to hear them!

While some KW units may added for balancing and other purposes, it's not on the top of the priority list right now: A, there's been plenty of mods that has done this already; B, The focus of Refined is to unleash the potential capabilities of the engine, and use it to create game elements that are unconventional and/or unthought of in order to craft a fresh new experience; and C, I'm already planning to port the mod to KW in the future, so please stay tuned!

nope, that's still Armory's job, however it now can replenish squad members within a certain radius around it. of course you can still do it the old way by sending them into the Armory itself, faster and safer.

3. Thanks for the feedback, we will review the unit and work on the re-balancing.

4. We will add some pretty expensive hi-tech units in the future, but they won't have that kind of price tag lol

M247's active radar mode increase sight and weapon range, but will make itself detectable to enemy ECM units. furthermore, a ECM unit which on active mode can remove this bonus.
