I think realistic is better unless the game calls for over the top violence. Some games such as Quake 3 use gore as part of their gameplay, but games like half-life 2, where realism is one of the keys to its brilliant gameplay needs much more toned down gore. The amount of gore should just depend on the game. I like all types of gore (except SOF, i think that just took it to the extreme) but i would hate to see Quake 3 style gibbing in half-life 2, that would just ruin the game. The gore should depend on the type of gameplay the game wants to offer. But I prefer realistic because it makes it so much more believable, and that makes me question the game less and just enjoy it. Other people may disagree, but to each his own.

I think that nintendo had the best show and ideas. For once a console isn't simply trying to be a mini-pc, but is instead trying something completely new and original. The Xbox 360 is quite stupid, since it is pretty much just a pc with controllers. The PS3 is going to be the same as every other playstation console, without any new radical ideas or changes, which in many ways is fine since they came before the xbox. What really annoys me is how most consoles want to make themselves like pc's. Why don't they just give up on consoles and start making computers, since they have so much in common. The only console that is even worth considering to buy is the Nintendo Wii, as it doesn't replicate a computer but offers a completely different experience to computer gaming. The xbox 360 is only able to survive in the market because of its excellent marketing campaign and by milking popular game titles for everything they're worth. The PS3 will survive because of its strong fanbase and the nintendo may or may not survive depending on how much people are willing to try something new.

All I can say is that it would be a lot simpler if companies would just give up on consoles and make computers, since they are the best gaming platform by far.

I voted for the unexpected, mostly because the games that scare are ones with surprises. AvP 2 scared the hell out of me, and i don't even wanna talk about what number one did to me...

Finally a tutorial that is simple to follow and explains each part. Excellent Job. I'll finally be able to make some decent models now.

Excellent work so far on the mod. I am definitely looking forward to seeing this mod finally be realised. Keep up the good work, and don't let people pressure you into releasing things too soon. Release media when its ready, not when people start whinging and going "is the mod dead?". I'd love to help you, but i'm really noob at mapping and modding in general at the moment.
