I maintain that the Goa'uld should get Unas as cannon fodder ground units, and giant riding lizards that carry guns (based on the chulak priest robes that seem to be made from giant lizard scales)
(buried)
you realize taht all ships have these right?
they are called FTL engines . . . this is rediculous
once again people demonstrate that they think all travel between solar systems in mass effect is done with Mass Relays.
no literally I have to laugh at the complete and utter stupidity of the very concept of this god awful render and concept.
hold off on making the spears, they might integrate spears!
We just wanted something different and smalll, but not so different it was ridiculous looking (wind generators in halo reach)
I understand the words of what you are saying, but I am struggling to understand the point!
It is an awesome concept, there is a bunch of stuff we havent revealed yet!
so . . . how exactly do you plan on redefining the modern FPS/RPG?
that helped thank you!
got it to work, stilll pretty sure I messed up . . . yeah . . . I am sure I messed up somehow
I tried to install it . . . I have no idea what I am doing
tried clicking the button that said "stargate" didnt work :I
I have to call it, you guys are completely out of your minds for making something so awesome
furthermore, whoever owns stargate it out of their minds for not adopting this project and paying the people making it
now this is a hobbit hole, where the hobbits do their hole living
so Designs from the war in the north . . . yes or no
some cool weapons and armors
stone giants rock in the game (king of puns here)
I dont know what things in the game are tolkien canon, and what things are newage fanon
But there are some cool statues and locations and all sorts of stuff . . . . I mean if these places represent actual locations from the original works, I think you guys should take a look at war in the north for inspiration
because heck it looks cool
they clearly have cybernetic implants, but they also have teeth and facial markings similar to the wraith, not to mention the skin color.
they are from an alternate reality
and I assume, that in that reality the wraith used metal and wire to build their civilization
instead of flesh and nerve
that is my assumption
of course, my alternative assumption is that they are the rogue asgard who repaired their bodies using wraith DNA from micheals research
these are of course just speculative, but I think fun speculative theories are fun to share with my peers
I have a warm cupcake on my desk
covered in frosting
if you dont integrate the oran style ship for the lucian alliance, and the olesian hovercraft
I will EAT this cupcake
I AM SERIOUS
I WIL DO IT, I WILL EAT THIS POOR DEFENSELESS CUPCAKE
that was the suggesstion, that it eb a pirate ship for non-player factions
the ship is seen used by two minor space faring factions
thus it can be used for both :D
also, yeah it would be a ground vehicle, but as you can clearly see they are making speculative ground vehicles for non-player factions . . . . so it owuldnt be bad
you guys ar e detailing the crap out of this D:
but I have a question . . . we have seen a good deal of fanonical stuff to fill gaps
what about canonical stuff?
like that one hover craft from the planet with the prison island . . . why not do that thing . . . . .its canonical, its unique
oh oh oh
and why not do the oran style ship . . . . it was used by the hebridan and the lucien alliance . . . so the ship would serve a dual purpose, a small ship, slightly smaller than an alkesh and slightly less powerful to give the serrakin some orbital defense and to set the lucian alliance a little bit further apart
that ship . .. .
it is just .. . Ifind it so strange you guys havent added it, it is a ship that will have uses in more than one NPC faction
it would make a good ship to be acquired in like raids and stuff . . . .
it feels like it would be a cool, sorta neutral looking ship to add
I maintain that the species that built these craft are in fact wraith, simply wraith who took a technological path that was mechanical instead of biological
I approve!!!!!!!
I hope you guys uinclude unas for the goauld faction as canon fodder (maybe giant raptiles with canons on their backs, based on the fact that jaffa priests wear lizard skin stuff! )
I would recommend watching the animated films, some aspects of them are remembered rather fondly I hear!
Well I want to thank you guys, for being so darned exacting and knowing of what you are doing. Aswell as the (how do I phrase this) acceptance of derivative works as being what they are!
Most modifications I see are outright malicious towards derivative works (certain stargate mod that is popular outright condemns the comic books)
Now for some specifics I do want to know if they can be included or not!
Clothing, and specific objects from the animated movies and derivative games!
creature design from the derivative games!
weapon designs from the derivative games!
and the last, kind of an odd one . . . ambient flora from derivative games and other works?
Just a few specific I was wondering about!
its was a broad question referring to all derivative works not just the games based off the movies!
And, you dont have to like the game but as video game developers of a sort yourselves you really shouldnt outright insult them! Even the lowest quality requires some sort of effort!
and many of those games are other peoples interpretations of how the world is, still inspired by the works of Tolkien
simple question, how do you feel about derivative works of the jackson movies (video games and stuff)
and derivative works outside the jackson movies
hypothetical situation
there is an animal mentioned, but not described in the tolkien novels, and not seen in the jackson movies. But was in some obscure comic adaption, a board game, or a video game.
could that appearence be acceptable to be incorporated into the project?
hello . . . hello hello hello hello hello hello hellooooo
