ive always wondered, how are you soldiers not deaf after all that practicing with guns (or actual combat experience)? as far as i know you dont get hearing protection in the army, or do you?

hardest, as i always do. it just seems the pistols have infinite range. the gun feel in this mod is great but it makes zero sense to me that a guy can shoot me in the head with a makarov before i have the chance to even put my crosshair over his head with a sniper rifle.

try different graphic modes (static lighting, dynamic lighting etc). i had that problem with a different mod where all the icons would only work in dx11 mode.

couldn't you guys release a hotfix fixing the pistols? i would really like to play this mod but i dont feel 1.2 will be released too soon and its really annoying that npcs can shoot you in the head across the map using a makarov and never use their other weapons. combined with the problem that sunlight is not reflecting off the ground (which means the sky is bright making the ground far too dark in comparison and because of that its unrealistically hard to spot things) the mod in its current state is, in my opinion, more frustrating than rewarding. its still my favourite mod concept so far but it just doesnt work as it was supposed to.

please take all the time you need guys. personally id rather wait longer but get more features / better optimization. ignore those people who complain about every small aspect they dont like. some people just think that they are entitled to stuff even if the work for them is done for free.

look on google for "sword of the stars 2 large adress aware", it should be the second result in the list.
that doesnt solve all problems but it severely reduced loading times / UI lag for me and made the game actually playable on my pc.

please please nerf the goddamn pistols. i love the mod but
1. pistols are far too accurate (they get me with a makarov before i'm even able to aim with my lr + scope)
and
2. it doesnt make sense that the sky is completely bright at 8 pm but the ground somehow soaks up all the light and is completely dark nonetheless.
these are my only 2 complaints tho and i cant wait for 1.2
