Would it be possible to do something similar to the Star Trek mod (the name escapes me right now) and have multiple hero units for each faction? Maybe one hero unit per ship class.

For example, for Liberty you could have Jun'ko as the fighter hero, Walker as the cruiser hero along with Adm. White as the 'flagship' hero. Only problem is that there isn't too much to go on for the other factions. Maybe having the Donau as the Rheinland one?

Just found this game and started tracking it straight away, sounds great! One question I had about the gameplay, whether planned for initial release or in the future, is whether any of the ships (flagship especially) will have any kind of ability trees? For instance, being able to gear your main ship more towards fighter support or ship-to-ship combat. (Once again sticking with the Galactica analogy)

I'm not sure if this is too early in the development process to ask, but will the Nomads eventually have the ability to 'take over' ships, or perhaps multiple at once? I remember they did a pretty good job at assimilating Rheinland in the game.

So, I only just found this mod a few days ago, downloaded it and played it. I have to say that you guys have done an incredible job in moving the Mass Effect universe to Battlefront, specifically the way you've managed the different firing modes and biotic abilities, it adds a lot more depth to all the characters and gives it a much more 'tactical' feel.

A quick question, though: Are there plans for there to be randomized 'Normandy' heroes like Garrus, Liara, or Jack?

To be honest, I really like the look of the Nevada-class. I can see it in the Rebellion release at the earliest, though. It seems like it would only fit the Halo 4 era.

I agree with Marth, it looks very pristine for a vehicle thats in a snowy environment. Maybe not grunge as in dirt and that stuff, but perhaps smaller things like making the windows a little more frosted-up?

So, just looking at the sheer amount of reapers here, they all look like Sovereign-class ships. Are they all capital ships, or is there a cruiser variant of them as well?

Hey, awesome to see a standalone mod like this in development, although I have two questions.

1) Will you be planning at all to release different Era's in addition to the GCW and CW era's such as the KOTOR/SWTOR era?

2) Will there be the option to mix and match factions, e.g. having Empire vs CIS?

I've seen an ability like this, exactly like HTRK74JR mentioned, in the 'Sins of the Fallen' mod. One of the abilities is to spawn a basic frigate to assist. Fully upgraded, it can spawn three.

To balance it here, we can give it an extremely large cooldown and/or antimatter cost.

Thats exactly right! Using that as a basis, I could imagine a mobile repair ship unit having some sort of 'antagonise' ability to force enemy ships to attack it.

The Leviathan race can't really be done as a unit, since the race is aquatic. There's been no proof that they're space-faring. Likely, they may work as an artifact, but thats it.

When SotP is being developed for Rebellion, after the Entrenchment release, the Infinity will most likely be the UNSC titan ship.

I'm just waiting for it to be textured. The concept drawing looked really great, and didn't seem to be obviously blocky. I'm going to hazard a guess that once its textured and whatnot, it will look great.

Superweapons have been discussed in the past, and so far the Infinity has only been considered a titan ship. The superweapons for the other factions haven't been decided on, but there are ideas.
