You magnificent bastard! You've literally just solved all of the problems I had. I didn't even think of defining 'players' in the .galaxy file itself, I just assumed that it was all done with the .galaxyScenarioDef file.
Oh I've got so much coding to do now

I don't think I am though. I have a fresh download of 3.4 and the most recent Forge after installing Sins a few days ago on my new pc.
Both the def file from the Forge and INT downloads match, and playing the Hutt Space map works (I assume) correctly, in that all of the specified worlds are controlled by an npc faction called "Hutt Core Worlds".
My def file states that there should be 35 npc factions.

Unfortunately I don't think that what I wanted is possible, without making changes to the mod myself, which isn't something I want to do.
However in testing things out, I can't seem to replicate what you did with Hutt Space, which is setting the Hutts as the NPC and owner of the planets/ships. Even copy/pasting line for line (disregarding planet number and pos) can't reproduce the result in a different map. And idea why that is?

Any chance you could tell what the names of all the factions are? Or where to find that info?

I'm messing around in the Forge, and I'm trying to see if i can assign factions to specific planets, like you did in the "Hutt Space" map.

To maybe clarify what I'm looking for, it's the name of the 'faction' that you see when hovering over units, even the random/neutral ones that just spawn. They always have a faction name, like "Atzerri Cartel" for example.

Nope, regular Empire.

It seemed to fix itself after about 20 minutes from what I noticed. Game was probably just being the usual buggy POS.

Did you guys change how the Jovan's 'Call For Reinforcements' ability works, or is it broken?
Because I've had a station use both levels of the ability and nothing has happened either time.
Only using the Max Starbase Level minimod if that has any effect on it.

EDIT: It's now working correctly again? Not sure what's going on, maybe my game was just buggy.

So it seems like the Gravity Well Projector on the Empire Hero Teren Rogriss isn't functioning correctly. Every time I activate it the enemy still escapes.
They don't have Interference Immunity, and the projectors have finished activating.

Also, is there a list somewhere of how all of fighters/bombers compare to each other?

ex. Do I want a Mando Dreadnaught with Scyk fighters, or an Imp Dreadnaught with Tie fighters? B-Wing or Y-Wing; X-Wing or A-Wing?

If you're asking how they are in atmosphere, that's just a different skybox.
If you're asking how one ship is physically lower than another, EaW naturally spaces ships out according to their ship classification. Capitals are lower than frigates, etc.
It may also just be the angle of the picture.

So I was playing the game as UNSC last night, the Shield Refit worked fine. Now that I've loaded my game this morning, I can't Refit any of my new capital ship units.
Is there a limit to the amount of units you can Shield, or is this a bug?
