iirc just unpacking the mod in your diablo folder should be enough - if you don't need the extra difficulty added by infernity, I suggest playing devilutionx instead - it has most of infernity's features (except things that change the game completely like new difficulty) and is much more polished :)

No, there's an actual 100 tab stash! :D So you confused the "expanded inventory" with stash :) The stash isn't "physical" - it's just a button on your inventory screen when you are in town iirc.

* I had some issues with the mouse getting stuck to a tiny square in game, no matter what i did i could not get through this. It seemed related to the Resolution.

this happens when you set your ddraw resolution to be less than 1280x960 (this is what I've hardcoded as the minimal resolution of the game)

Game crashed when i tried to talk to Cain right after i spawned in Tritam for the very first time.

Infernity got created on a very early and unstable version of devilution's code, nothing I can do about these.
They won't be an issue when I rewrite infernity based on 100% stable/cleaned diablo 1's code.

Minimap was stuck to the top left side of the screen, i tried to center it with the Arrow keys with some success, but not completely where i want it

- minimap didn't get finished to support HD so it's quite buggy :(

* I could not change to my alternate Weapon for some reason, i could not even put an item there. - worked fine for everyone, maybe try using the hotkey?

* I don't like the way the Stash works, as it's part of the player and it feelt like cheating. I could carry an absurd amount of items. Make an actual Stash right next to Cain or if it's not doable, then give Gillian job of sharing and storing any item.
- how is it cheating if you can only access it in town?
What's the difference if you have to walk to Gillian vs clicking a button? :)

* Game looked extremely blurry and pixelated, GOG version does not have this issue. - because gog applies filters and other magic.

New version of Infernity will be even better than that ;)
(Also do I have to remind that gog used the words "HD" while delivering only the original 640x480? :))

While Infernity is not being actively developed at the moment, make no mistake, it's not dead, it will come back greater than ever!

Some people are reporting problems with moddb version, just download from github : P

Just a heads up about infernity: the project is paused atm, it will come back in a much better version (I'm helping with cleaning d1 code atm :))

dude, current version is a bike and the new version will be a racecar :D also feel free to come and hang out on discord (link is on github and probably here too), chatting there is so much more comfortable than writing comments :p

Infernity development has been stopped for now, because it's going to come back in a much better version (cross platform, configurable resolutions etc, truly a way for diablo to be played :))

I'm glad you like it :D However at the moment multiplayer is broken and there is a MUCH BETTER base for it in the work so I plan to completely rewrite it - the goal is still the same - for Infernity to be the ultimate diablo mod and the way it should be played :) Btw you should join my discord server, I'm much more active there while I rarely visit moddb ^^

trust me, I'd see these as well but it's not that easy to code :P Most people don't know, but the "HD mod" is not really a mod but a game written from scratch, the creator could've coded whatever he wanted.

I believe everything is described on github :P
