yep that same problem has come up a lot in testing, rest assured we'll be doing our best to fix it

we have some mechanics to stop a hero from being left behind, but they fall apart if he gets killed by all the powered up monsters before he gets a chance to get to the statue then the store to upgrade himself- this is the main thing we need to fix

so much other stuff to communicate / make more clear, but i'm stoked you had fun anyway with the early version! :)
