To put things in.

We put things in pockets. We can store small items like: money, dice, ID, or even tools like a small knife. Sometimes people will simply put their hands in them, in order to warm them up, or provide a modicum of security and psychological comfort.

All in all, pockets are cool! I really recommend that you try them! I bet you'll love the humble pocket!

Absolutely incredible! It's such a small detail for a player, and it is delivered with so much love and care! This is true of both the model and the description!

I wish-- it's a fantasy really, that AAA studios would get on your level, and that games like the Assassin's Creed series would find your vision, passion, and aesthetic for bringing history to life! It would be much better for everyone! The art would be more attractive, and it would actually be educational in it's presentation.

Thanks Wlod and the devs for producing this, and thanks to the modelers for the fantastic work! It's really great that this community gets to experience this! It really is world class!

I know it's late, but I'm happy reading this comment! I know of a mod who uses this extremely well! It isn't available here, but you can find it on Nexus!

You need to check out, "Aut Caesar Aut Nihil" for Warband! It's set in the time of Nero's reign, and has this option, incredible custom quests, historic and narrative events and scenes that feel almost like, "Sleep no More". All of Europe and parts of Asia and Africa. Unique period accurate factions, religions and associated quests, and equipment. Better everything frankly! If Imperial Rome interests you, it's a lock. If it doesn't, it'll still likely be the best mod that you've ever played, and you'll likely have a better appreciation for the period!

I'd love to see Chinese Swordmanship and Spearmanship(Seriously, Spearmanship is the most underated melee style on Earth) taking a page from the HEMA movement and reforming as much of the skill from the past as possible. In my experience the West likes things that are, "New and Improved." and China like things that were very ancient and time tested to work. In the past few years we have been able to reconstruct things that were unimaginable to us previously. Maybe with technology, scholarship and hard work we will get a glimpse into the past and advance at the same time.

Do you know anything about the history of the weapons that are commonly taught in Kung-Fu classes? As I brought up before, I have suspected that they were en vouge in the 19th century, but I am not Chinese and am curious if any history minded people know anything about it.
I spent a long time learning Kung-Fu, but eventually left it for Muy Thai, Western Boxing, and wrestling because they helped me the most in San Shou. A little later MMA started to take off and I did the above with a little Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and eventually got too old to fight and started coaching more than fighting. Once in a while, I'll teach and train some of the Kung-Fu attacks or combos that can catch someone by surprise, but by and large you are right. I've found that the Kung-Fu I did and some of the things I still do from my training have helped me avoid some of the injuries and damage that have plagued some of the other men I trained with. It makes me wonder if the earlier training for Kung-Fu was more like the training for modern mma. I suspect it was and what we learn now was more advanced "tricks" for certain situations and especially about maintaining our health despite the strain of rigorous training.

I studied Chinese Kung-Fu (Choy Li Fut and Yang style Tai Chi Chuan) as well as Chinese wrestling techniques for around 20 years and fought San Shou matches, which was a lot of fun for a young man. My teacher tried to make a profit at it, but didn't gouge us, especially if we trained hard. He wanted that to be his means of making money and raising a family and never seemed greedy. Sadly, in the US renting an indoor space for a gym, or kwoon, or what ever you want to call it is expensive. I absolutely believe that there are an enormous amount of people teaching poor martial arts, but trying to make a profit from people who watch too many movies

Is this the time period where the weapons that most Kung-Fu styles teach came from? Swords like the Dao and Jian, butterfly knives, etc? I always wondered why those weapons became the default ones when Chinese weapons were so varied over their long history

Lady Ashwood! Merry Xmas! Are you still working on the mod?

I am the guy that keeps hounding you about having a pirate faction or two like Brytenwalda (and your mod will obviously be greatly improved by it-- look at the loop surrounding ships-- which are *very* difficult to earn, and having those factions increases the value and engagement of most players who make that choice by a degree that is needed. At the moment buying a ship is disappointing; Please try it yourself.

You have an amazing mod! I absolutely love it! I just keep harping on this one point, because it feels out of place. You have too much amazing, ground breaking stuff to have an integral loop be underdeveloped like that!

If you are busy, that's life! If you are working on it, please send us a tease. If you see what I mean-- please, please let us know. I remember you acknowledging it before. It might now be a personal priority, but beyond England and Scotland the sea in between is mega important and deserving of the treatment of your work

If it doesn't have a discord then, yes. It is *possible* that a mod without a discord community isn't dead, but in the way that the electrons in a wall or floor can *possibly* lineup in such a way that you can fall through said wall or floor.

It is *possible*. More importantly, it is *improbable* in a way that you can bet the majority of your wealth that it won't happen and always come out ahead if you bet on every one.

Still the Renaissance mode is actually still active! It had a new release this week! 1257AD just had one! Between Empires is going to have a new release soon! They aren't on Moddb, but Aut Caesar aut Nihil is going to have a *huge* release before Xmas-- look on Steam Workshops and hit up the discord. Don't thank me, just tell your friends

I *really* wish someone would mod bucklers that act like bucklers into Warband.I don't know how to code well enough, but if someone could code for the bucklers to: Deflect the blow so that the direction of the initial attack continues in the same direction if you time it correctly, or jams the attack if you time it and the direction early enough-- That would be close enough. Technically you should be able to block like a full size shield at certain distances and angles and, I think that the warband engine can handle it-- It just takes one person who is interested, has the time and the skill to add it to an .osp...

Me, I am only interested

Still, if anyone who can do it is interested, you would revolutionize a huge timeframe on Warband a little.
If you need consultation about how bucklers behave, I'll pitch in and know some HEMA experts who, I believe, would love to weigh in.
still, it wou

Do you have a discord server?

This is an incredible mod! I have been known to put the "Tides of History" podcast on, especially the episodes about the period and freelance my way through Europe. It's especially nice to break up important chores that I dislike with lol

When life calms down, I hope I can play as a Usurper and reform the Roman Empire!

Do we need to start a new game for the patch, or is that only for "new versions"?

It's only flattery if I am being disingenuous or am trying to get something from you. I assure you, I only want to celebrate and encourage fantastic work!

Though, I guess if you ever make a portfolio that includes these pictures and the accompanying text(and you should) I'd love a copy. And if you ever did make book fit for a copy table maybe a signed copy.

Seriously, you deserve the praise. I hope you and the ones who love you are very proud!

Fantastic! I'm glad to hear it will be in the next update!

You have a point about not changing divisions-- I mean sometimes transferring divisions may be something of a promotion if the pay better or are more prestigious, but I see why you wouldn't want that to be the norm.

In the discord, it sounded like you were considering adding Dragoons or Uhlans as divisions that you can enlist in, in the future. I think that will be amazing if you do!

That's a pretty big request! Just add in the US, Native American tribes and tribal lands, the numerous wars with said tribes as the US subjugates them and takes their territory, the civil war, Boxer rebellion, Spanish-American War... conflicts in Cuba... Samoa... I know I am missing some more lol
