Hoi. Norwegian lad here, interested in all fields withing game dev, more interested in designing maps and making them work over anything else. Currently working on the first year of three, wich will (hopefully) lead to me getting a bachelor after it's all said and done. Not really that active on Moddb, but I check in now and then.
These are three of the models I'm going to use for a small sideproject I'm working on.
It's just going to be a japanese shinto shrine with a nearby river.
In the picture there's an unfinished shrine, a small bridge for the river and a Torii wich is going to be used for the entrance.
Might do the final scene in UDK instead of 3ds max as I wouldn't know how to render it out properly there.
PS.
The models are not textured properly, I am not going to do so until I find the time between my two other projects and school.
I decided to render them with the mental ray option hidden lines contour, or something like that..
I'm also having some problems with the roof of the small shrine.
If anyone has any experience with doing traditional japanese roofs I would be ever so thankful if you could tell me some pointers!
