I've never seen a third-person fixed camera gold source game before! This is really cool!

Out of curiosity, how exactly are you pulling off the camera system?

(Spoilers?)

To begin, holy ****, this mod scares the hell out of me. From the atmosphere to the actual horrors lurking inside, this mod has it all. I truly want to give my thanks to MrGnang, since this is the first game to instill genuine terror in me since who knows when.

To explain myself, let me back up a bit. When I first began playing the mod, I was stuck admiring the visuals of the map. The animations and lighting were used well, which in turn helped the set the atmosphere. I also really appreciated the texture work. Anyways, you get the point. The game's beautiful.

But while I was enjoying the scenery, I kind of let my guard down... whoops. In turn, the change in atmosphere put me on edge. I then began exploring the facility, and little by little, it began falling apart around me... until that "thing" made its presence known.

I was just minding my own business when a zombie knocks me out with a barrel. But in my last moment of consciousness, I see that "thing" fly by snatching away the enemy. And the moment I woke up, I begin to hear... low growling. As I explore and begin the solve the short, door and vent puzzle, this growl slowly gets closer. When I finally finish the puzzle, I move over to the exit and abruptly fall through it. Now, I'm in a flesh-filled tunnel bathing in red light. And then I hear that thing again, but louder. I quickly turn around, only to discover that... "thing."

It then begins slowly creeping towards me, low growls escaping it's... mouth? Who knows.

I slowly back up, terrified, before turning and booking it out of the tunnel like a wimp. I then saved, cried for a bit (jk), and then wrote this review.

I apologize for the long review, but goddamn, I just can't explain how much I love this mod. Keep up the great work man!

Question, is this game still breathing?
