I generally play RTS, FPS, and RPGs. Strategy games are also nice. I like the mod database quite a lot, since I usually end up playing a game and wishing I could add my own input.

Make sure to make the turning slow.
last time i saw naval units in this game they turned as fast as tanks... feels so unnatural when that happens

Well, people generally consider karma as more of an opinion thing than a blocking thing.

EDIT: For the record, I never downed your karma.

Anyway, as a Random player, I believe this mod is very well balanced the way it is:

-AA Firehawks easily counter Vertigos (remember units are ALWAYS better than defense structures).

-That chain gun on the Orca Bomber takes care of those bikes and missile squads you say kill them (or was that Mammix?).

-The Orca Bomber survives if you're smart about how you bomb rather than just mindlessly rushing the base. EMPing first or scouting and then planning the bombing are good things to do.

-The Cobra isn't as great as you're making it out to be. It travels pretty slowly, needs to set up, and has flimsy armor. It's countered by Juggernauts (they have much tougher armor and can take those shells) and pretty much any air.

Now, please try these counters out and let us all move on (agreeing with Smallchange).

Is there any anti-infantry here? Because the closest I see is the fanatics, and I doubt they'll survive long enough to blow her up. And I think Tanya can avoid getting squished easily enough...
So it seems the fight actually IS in favor of Tanya :P

Just in case my idea doesn't work I'd like to say that I'm installing the mod at the moment. But did any of you think about Blossom Tree + Seed Tiberium + Catalyst Missile? And who knows what other great combinations could appear with what The Forgotten have...

#1 If you knew anything about Tiberian Sun you'd know that the Forgotten are nothing to laugh at T.T

#2 I'm pretty sure most of the people here don't really like the epics from Kane's Wrath and would prefer the Mammoth MKII over the MARV.

#3 I think you need to rethink what 20 years is, especially for an organization that's MUCH more technologically advanced than any nation is now. 20 years is WITHOUT A DOUBT enough time for a more advanced unit (or a new version of the same unit) to be developed, tested, and deployed to the battlefield.

It's in the C&C 3 storyline...
Either way Nod isn't completely focused on stealth they are focused on Guerilla warfare, which stealth is only a part of. Plus GDI doesn't seem to focus on air at all, instead going for heavy land and sea based control. In fact another part of the C&C 3 storyline is that GDI has sea superiority.

I like this idea because then these units aren't overpowered at the begging of the match but are also useful throughout the match.

Just throwing the idea out there, but maybe this armour upgrade could be used on the Harpy instead of the signature generator. Maybe it would be a bit unbalanced but again, I'm just throwing the idea out there.

Adding to the above comment, supposedly Nod has better air control than GDI.

Also, I'm in favor of a buff for the banshee's damage to aircraft or maybe a RoF boost (like shooting off more than 2 rounds each pass). A RoF boost might help make the banshee more of a hit and run vehical, too.

Adding on to this I'd like to say that Nod is supposed to be very varied in their tech. (ie hardly trained militants to the exotic flamethrowers we see from the black hand troops to the extremely high tech banshees) My point here is that Nod takes anything it can get and uses it in their army. If Nod could produce cheapish helicopters that offer some great support for other units from the microwave pulses and effective anti air, it would. (Not to confuse the point Helge made with the effectiveness in-game.)

Cool I was about to say something on the forums about how I thought banshees should have a speed boost ability both to stay on par with the firehawk and to live up more to Nod's doctrine of using the faster more flimsy units.
