That one vehicle behind them, that thing on the back is just for show. What it actually is, is a pod full of various weaponry! Drones, Missiles, Nukes, even a Railgun right in the center! And that pod can be swapped out for a big naqadia enhanced nuke!! Just launch it, watch it attach itself to the hull of a wraith hive ship, and BOOOM. No more Hive. And if there were Wraith Cruisers next to it, they be feeling the blast and running away screaming like little four year old girls. That's all they're good at anyways...screaming....

Well if you think about it, both the 303 and the 304 were built on ground ship yards. Maybe they have a much larger ground shipyard for SOL somewhere in the US, like say...Alaska...but other than that, they could have a naval based shipyard for SOL, which is a plus because not only could SOL protect the US from Terrorists by sailing over to those corrupt countries and hit them with 302s and Jumpers for Bombers, but SOL can also go up in space and kick some Wraith butt!!

Woot!

Finally thought of an answer for this question, 'Which part of the space skirmish release of TPC are you the most excited about?'

You know that particular box in the Space Fleet on the Galaxy map where you can put one ship in, so that when your fleet goes into battle, only that ship drops out of hyperspace. That's what I'm most excited about. Having like...a Wraith Dart or BC-303 drop out of hyperspace, approach the enemy fleet or if you have ground troops on the planet, wait for the map to be revealed and then, drop Hive ships/304s, O'Neills, DJs, and/or Ancient Warships right on the enemy or surrounding the enemy starbase. THAT I love most xD.

Every time I fought a battle against the Empire, Rebels or Zan, I always either put an Interdictor in place, or some other vessel, then drop a whole butt load of capital ships around the enemy fleet or starbase. Sometimes I lose one, sometimes I don't. But sure makes the battle more fun than flying over half of empty space to reach the enemy starbase :P

If you're talking about Beta Testing Version...don't think they need Beta Testers anymore when they are VERY Close to releasing it.

But if you're talking about the mod itself. It is for FoC Expansion. But if you downloaded Stargate EaW - Final 1.3 (Complete Version) and tried installing in into FoC...*slaps* No! Stargate EaW is for...*ahem* E A W. Pegasus Chronicles, that isn't out yet, is for FoC.

Sorry if that seems to jump out as rude, but a lot of people keep making the same mistake, and then saying 'It's not working!' So..yeah.

True, I understand that, but as I stated before, someone else used his ship design, Excalibur, in another game and I do believe they had to create the model for the game.

Just saying that asking Mallacore ain't gonna hurt none. And I had the specs redone because it was forgetting some key things that Mallacore intended, even though he said this,

Mallacore: Of course when someone asks to use the design I do give them room to fluff things to make them fit there setting.

Been talking to him via Deviantart to make the BC-307 specs more accurate to his intentions, because I'm a bit nit picky, bad habit I've picked up :P.

But I'll understand if you still don't want to use the design, just think it wouldn't hurt anyone to ask the guy at least.

Actually, that wiki is based on a SG Simming group called, Stargate: The Next Generation, which is based 13 years from our current date, which is 2025, or November 16, 2025. Thus, the ship was made 5 years before, so it can be put into service with the simmers.

The design of it, was created by Mallacore, which you can find on Deviantart.com . Yes we ask permissions to use images and such, in fact he is a Contributor to SGTNG, thus we have several ships made by him.

So, yes you're right, it says it was put into service in 2020 because of the Simming group. In this game, it can be put in at any time.

And to [SGMG]McKay, please just ask Mallacore. If he says no, oh well. If he says yes, you have a perfectly good design of a warship to put into the game, a big one I might add, if you were to look at his gallery and find his 'Ship Chart' that compares the Excalibur to all the others, including the Deadalus.

He loves his work, and he loves it when people loves his work. I'm sure if you ask, he would answer nicely, whichever answer that be. Wouldn't hurt to ask, would it? Please? :)

Oh and, even though the mod doesn't seem to exist anymore, someone did ask Mallacore if he had contributed his Excalibur design to another conversion mod for another game, and he has. So I don't think he'd turn you down, in fact I think he'd be happy to let you use it in a game like this, especially after all the excellent work you guys have put into it. And from how the Deadalus looks, I'm sure the Excalibur would look friggen bad-***, especially with those big guns on her.

Feel free to prove me wrong, though.

I would recommend this, Sgtng.wikia.com even though its not cannon to the show, it is an excellent vessel, and gives the Tau'ri a very decent Capital Ship. But I understand if it takes too long to do it, since after all, I believe there is no model for it so one would have to be made up from scratch for the game.

But I still think it's an excellent choice for a Tau'ri Capital Ship in the game ^^

Why did this get negative votes? The man speaks the truth.... When the Mod Staff are ready, they will post more news. If they are not ready, it wouldn't make sense to post news saying 'We are almost there'...again. It be like repeating themselves, and why would they want to repeat themselves?

Did you...install the mod on Star Wars: Empire at War or install the mod on Forces of Corruption? Because if FoC...then there's your mistake, which people seem to keep making.

The current SG:EaW mod that is out, is for EaW!! Pegasus Chronicles for FoC isn't out yet.

Otherwise if you did install SG:EaW on EaW and NOT on FoC...then I dun know.

*clears throat* This is going to be a bit of a pain for you as it was for me, more or less. But you will have to do more than just changing the ship's hardpoints in the Capital ships or w/e xml file. When I changed the Defiant's railguns to Ancient Weapons, Drones, and Drone tanks, I had to go into a much different xml file than Corvette.xml.

But Being that I reached over a 2000 character limit, I will PM the rest to you.

Pfff, being that I sim in a simming group called SG:TNG, and so much more that I won't go into details about or it be way too much.... I added the USS Defiant, BC-304, with Asgard beams that fire a bit faster than the BC-304mk2s do. And slapped on the 'Isa' bomb. Basically took the 'Deadalus Nuke Beam' and turned it into 'Isa Beam' with a much larger explosion...can almost take out 2 Wraith Hives with the bloody thing Lol. Course, I increased the cooldown/recharge time...or doubled it...

But now, I found the Ancient Satellite weapon and slapped two of em on the Defiant in place of the Asgard Beam weapons and holy hell...waaaaaay overpowered lol. Thinking of reverting it back to Asgard beams. But I can't stop watching it destroying several ships with a few shots, and all those shots don't even hit the ships it destroys. *shakes head*

But I managed to unlock the Ancient Satellite so you can build them on every Tau'ri controlled planet! WOOT. Though, haven't been tested in space combat yet...Anubis is too dam chicken s**t to attack me. *looks at his difficulty setting being set to EASY* Hmmm....

But still can't get the ground puddle jumpers to do the Stargate trick!! Gah!! I've done everything, even added the 'Asuran_Ground_Jumper','Ground_Jumper' to this list in Gameconstants.xml, which READ like it was the trigger to allow certain ground units to 'Gate' travel...but it didn't work!! It's driving me insane. *sigh*

The Asgards were always with humans/Tau'ri in the SG:EaW mod. It was just the matter of unlocking them and using them against the Goa'uld, Wraith, Anubis, Replicators, and other races.

Nonetheless,

WraithCommander: 'Hisssssss destroy them all!'
WraithPilot: 'But Commander, they have ships and we only have so many darts!'
WraithCommander: 'Then we will die fighting!'
WraithCo-Pilot: *Grunts* 'This job sucks...I knew I should of applied to be a guard on the Hive.'
WraithPilot: 'Too late! Lalalalalalala!!' *Crash*

Nonetheless, as far as I've seen, the Asgard Beam weapons that replaced their Ion Cannons, put them back on the top of being technologically advance compare to Anubis Mothership. So if if a Beliskner had its shields upgraded and weapons upgraded, sure it could take out Anubis' ship, but yeah, anything before the Asgard made those beam weapons would be swatted like flies. tsk tsk. Just saying this as a continued response to Palpatine and abashedduke2.

Bring on the October news!! Must know more :P, ha.

Nonetheless, its nice to know the only thing you're interested in, is about the one mistake over my entire comment.

Well actually, 3 Hat'taks with 1 shot. I clearly remember the episode when Anubis Mothership was over Abydos. I agree with Spinobreaker, Beliskners would probably not survive. Beliskners have Ion Cannons, one of Asgards advance weaponry capable of fighting any Hat'tak with no problem. But when Anubis had retained ancient knowledge, upgraded a Hat'tak, which Osiris tested when Thor fired on it and failed to destroy it, the Anubis Mothership would easily annihilate a Beliskner, maybe even two in one shot, counting the same episode when his Mothership took 3 Hat'taks out in one shot. But O'Neill still had Ion Cannons, only upgrades it had was more weapons, and better shielding. The Anubis Mothership will still, without a doubt, destroy an O'Neill in a single shot. The Asgard would have to use probably three to six O'Neill's to destroy the Anubis Mothership. But then, of course, the Asgard developed the Plasma Beam, which is their most advanced, powerful weapon, excluding Lantean Beam weapons (Destiny's could be considered more powerful, but its the only ship we know that HAS that kind of weapon....) And thus, if the O'Neills were upgraded with those beam weapons, then a single O'Neill would probably annihilate the Anubis Mothership, back handing the Goa'uld back in place that the Asgard have more authority than they do. Honestly, I think in the beginning when the Asgard had placed planets under protection and that the Goa'uld attempting to claim those planets only to fail countless times should of shown the Jaffa that the Goa'uld are false gods.... But meh, whatever.

Just shoot the center tower, all vital functions be gone, unless someone could get them back in the 'Auxiliary Control Room', which wouldn't matter, a couple more shots in the center, directly in the center, would be like destroying all the important support beams, the city would literally fly apart in space. So yeah, I agree, City used as a front line unit IS insane. Sure it may have powerful shields with 3 ZPMs and drones, but they can run out of drones and those shields can be depleted, and thus, the city would be utterly destroyed with several well placed shots.

This is why I make backups of the XML files I tend to edit. Though I have been forgetting to do that to some and now I may have to refer to reinstalling the mod, but nonetheless, the point is sound.

If you did, however, backed up those XML files before editing them, you can try comparing the non-edited XML file, with the edited one, then you shall be able to discover the problem. If not...take all the XML files you did edit...put them in a folder somewhere, reinstall the game, back up the non-edited XML files into another folder, then take the edited ones and put the back in place. This way, you can always check your work with the non-edited versions, so if you hit a snag, you can refer to them to find what you did wrong, so you can correct it.

Otherwise. I have no answer for you, not unless you send me the edited XML file and I try to compare it with the one I have to see what you did wrong.

They could have but that is their decision to make. They have their own reasons of why they didn't. Plus they been heavily focused on this mod alone, why spend extra time on a Beta? Furthermore, they believe they're on the finish line. If you'll just be patient and give them the time they need without someone begging for something, and have your attention elsewhere, it'll be out faster than you think.

Patience, you must have, young padawan.

Well mate, you're just going to have to be patient. Everyone who heard about this mod from the beginning had been waiting a long, long time for it to come out. If they believe they can get it done before 2013, then they'll get it done. If not, it isn't their fault entirely. Why? Think about it. Would you want a mod released with a dozen or so bugs that ruins the gameplay?? No. You'd want the mod as best as possible, with little to no bugs, so you can start praising the Modding Group and thank them for all their hard work.

Oh and by the way, it's not like they're an official Game Producers, like Lucasarts, or anything like that. Plus they're massively converting Forces of Corruption into the biggest, most bad ***, mod in the modding community!! It's going to take a long time, it been taking a long time, and when they say they're done, they're done. When they say they're not, they're not.

Plus like I always say. Patience has its own rewards. Trust me, when I heard about this mod months ago, I never touched moddb since then. And when I finally came back, I heard its coming out some time this year, believe me I was quite surprised and anxious but I can wait as long as it takes to finish the mod, so 'almost' everyone can be happy. Problem is...not entirely 'everyone' will be happy. There will always be people who are just...so very very childish and immature, those people you can not fix, nor understand, nor respect until they grows some balls and hair on their chest.

So again. *Does a Thor imitates Kensley impression by raising his finger* Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.
