Crysis RTX Remix mod won't happen ever. This game does not run on a fixed-function pipeline (a necessity for RTX Remix to even work at all) and uses DirectX 9.0c which is not compatible.

I assume you tried to play this on campaign/story? Well I'm sorry, but the mod isn't going to work on it (and makes sense when you realise), because the flowgraph running all these new functions was never added to the SP levels, only the custom map included with the mod has it. All of the SP levels need to be updated and have the flowgraph embedded into every single one in order to work at all. Lucky for us, we have access to it, so you can get to work on updating them at any time.
Weapon models can be swapped by adding .pak mods into the "...Crysis/Game folder", and should work just fine with CRedux. You just need to look around and see if any C2 weapon mods exist, or simply create them yourself.
Native support for technologies such as Freesync/G-Sync etc. in the game requires modification on the engine level, which is (currently) impossible to do, as modders don't have access to the Crysis source code.
While it may be possible to add these weapons, I have more important things to focus on at this current time.
Later at some point, I might look into it, but I don't want to fill the sandbox with a whole bunch of guns that are functionally the same... they should each play a distinct role, so we don't have a "jack-of-all-trades" weapon that only gets used, while everything else is left neglected.
Hi there, please see the main page for more info:

Thanks for checking it out, I hope it works well for you. Looking forward to hear your feedback!
More FarCrysis plz.
Unfortunately, the main problem in your case is the CPU. It's running on very outdated architecture and lacking high IPC or "single-core" performance which OG Crysis really demands. You can try reducing quality settings to gain a little extra performance, but it won't do much to help. Best bet is to try and upgrade to a more modern system, whether it be Intel Core 10/11/12 series, or an AMD Ryzen 5000
I will give a suggestion for this to (hopefully) make the process a bit clearer...
1. To have the "bin32", "Editor" and "Game" folders only in the "CrysisEEpart1.rar" package, and then leave out the "bin32" and "Editor" folders and only have the "Game" folder (with the rest of mod files to be merged) included in parts 2 to 5,
2. Then add to the mod install instructions, some lines like:
- Extract mod files in the CrysisEE____.rar packs
- Drag the new "bin32" and "Editor" folders from CrysisEE.part1.rar into main Crysis directory and merge with old folders
- Then before copying new mod files in the "Game" folder(s), you ***MUST*** first delete the old "Game" folder (all files inside this folder ***MUST*** be removed) in the main Crysis directory (at path > ..\Crysis\"Game"), then drag the new "Game" folder from part1.rar into main Crysis folder, and merge with this all remaining "Game" folders in parts 2,3,4 and 5 of the .rar packs. Be sure to also delete the "cache" folder (at path > "...\Documents\My Games\Crysis\"Shaders")
I hope this will help alleviate some frustrations for people.
I will suggest trying the GOG version of Crysis. Atm I'm trying the Enhanced mod on it, after spending too long dealing with all the issues with the Steam version, and I can now say that it's playing much MUCH better. Stick to running in 32-bit, it will run fine... in 64-bit however, it's extremely prone to crashes.
Congrats to all those mentioned above, and special honors to RStudio for their fantastic work on Crysis Enhanced Edition mod. Well done!
Easy, just unzip the .pak file and past directly into your Crysis/Game folder
Oh sweet, thanks a lot for doing this fix. Could this fix also be applied to other campaign maps as well somehow?
UHD textures are available to silver patrons for USD $5
Hi, are you trying to load with 32-bit or 64-bit? The engine is very unstable with 64-bit binaries and has memory management issues iirc. Maybe that's why you have trouble loading 8K tex.
