They were taken from the internet...

As for our civs, the first version, called the Prologue, will indeed only include five, but the next version will include a full fourteen civs.

Thank you very much. I'm quite flattered you liked my textures.

Were this mod to include misinterpreted Mayan calendars, I'd say we are going to release the Prologue before the end of the world.

Well, we're certainly not aiming for lameless. Whether or not it'll turn out to be, nobody knows, but if we think something isn't useful enough, we'll change it so that it is.

Thank you very much... Expect more maps over the next few weeks, which will hopefully be just as much to your liking.

Thank you very much. While it may still be some weeks (months?) until we'll be able to release our first version, I hope the weekly Friday Updates will be enough to keep you interested.

Well, the actual flag that you're going to see on top of buildings will have the black cross, and the selection screen one might get it too, since I'll have to rework some of them anyway.

Double consonants, bloody hate them. :p
I'll change it in stringtable though, thanks for correcting!

Did I tell you you are a genius? Yes, I probably did... Doesn't hurt doing it again though, especially not as this looks almost as good as the Lebanese one... Keep up the good work!

DayoftheNinja, you are a GENIUS! Shame KnB didn't come up with the idea of planting a tree inside a building... :p

Utterly, utterly love it, and half hope my textures of the same building will come out just as good. One can but hope, after all...

Isn't Istanbul a Turkish 'translation' of Constantinople anyway? I mean like the Egyptians call Alexandria Al-Iskanderiah?

Thought about it, and regardless the rest of the team, I might give it a go... After all, it would be a crying shame if we couldn't even get the Prologue finished.

I know, it's supposed to be dark red and yellow... However, as many people have comitted this cardinal sin before, and nearly all medieval flags are red and yellow alreay, we've decided to do it this way.

For it is quite hard to read at this scale, here is the description again:

"According to the Byzantines, COnstantinople was the religious capital of the world, and Orthodox Christianity was the only true faith. For such religiously minded people, it's essential to have proper places of worship, and Byzantine churches are to be considered the most beautiful in the world. As with all Byzantine buildings, influences from both the old Roman Empire and the Middle East are visible in their churches, or Basilicas, as they preferred to call them"

A nice quote from General_II on our team forum, when new team member spangopola asked how the mod was going and what he could do:

"We by far have the most potential for completing work, with the biggest modding team ever assembled for AoE3."
