Mod made in December 2015, by Divinity. Easy difficult overall. This is not a regular campaign. It has 25 really small levels (small challenges),
and you can actually win all the campaign 25 levels in less than 45 minutes, if you don't fail. Some levels require some skill, and some levels require some knowledge of the game. This campaign was made in just 2-3 days, as a fun mod. Extract or copy all the two folders (language and levels) into your Populous
folder, replacing all the files after. Start Populous and enjoy. If you don't
have Populous installed, make sure you instal it first. Even though it's small and easy mod, it can be a problem for beginners.

This campaign was made by "Divinity" and can be downloaded here.
This campaign is kinda different, because the enemy tribes will never attack (unless you go too close), and the objective is to destroy each tribe before you run out of time. On many levels you have no shaman, while on others the shaman will be the key to victory. Attacking with braves is the only possibility, sometimes. The most important aspects you should have, while playing this campaign, is having a good dismantle and harvest/upgrade skill. Also, some shaman skills are needed.
The overall difficulty is medium, but you can count with some hard levels in the middle.

To install this campaign, download it from here, and replace the files on your Populous directory. Generally easy mod, great for beginners!

Mod created by Impboy and his crew (maps and storyline by Impboy, terrain styles by Devilhu, and uploading to the site by Dezsike). To instal, replace all the files from the zip with the files in your Populous directory. It will ask you to replace, and you should click "yes to all" for a fast replacement of files).
It has a good set of levels with nice textures and storyline, and the scripts are not that hard, with some exceptions. So, if you played all 25 levels of Populous: The Beginning, you should try this campaign too!

Age of Chaos is a campaign created by the American player "King_Warg". It contains medium and hard difficulty levels, some of them being very hard unless you use smart strategies. It has some of the most challenging levels created for Populous, and also easy ones.
This campaign must be played in Hardware mode, and its colours can be hard to see in worldview, and hard to distinguish between tribes.
This campaing is not recommended for beginners due to its difficulty and strategy required in some levels.

War for Survival is a campaign created by the Chinese player "Blackshepp". It contains medium difficulty levels and many hard ones. It has some of the most challenging levels created for Populous. This campaign uses a weird grey colour for the blue tribe that can be confusing, specially if mixed with Chumara tribe, and changes back to the normal blue after level 7. This campaing is not recommended for beginners due to its difficulty.

Mod made by Sulivan. You can download it here, and replace the files. The levels are really similar to Bullfrogs's, with some changes, aswell as more challenging.

This campaign has some really difficuly levels, and many levels are built in a puzzle way, so you can expect everything.
Even though every single level is based on the original levels, they are changed, both script and terrain-wise. You can recognise the levels from the original game, but this ones are distorted and way more challenging.
This campaign has some of the hardest levels out there, so get ready!

Mod created by Sulivan and his friends blacksheeppp, QQ996191441 and blassdog. It's considered the hardest Populous mod so far, but it's not impossible. Has some really hard levels! Download it if you are a pro populous player

This campaign uses the Bullfrog scripts (mostly the level 24 script) in the levels, but all the levels are original. This should mean that you will be playing 25 levels with the difficulty of Bullfrog's level 24, but it does not, because the levels are different, meaning the markers are in different places, so in some levels you don't even get atacked.
Even though most levels are easier than Bullfrog's level 24 (Journey's end), you might find some intersting levels here, so give it a try - download this singleplayer here.
Generally speaking, it's one of the easiest singleplayers out there.

There are two patches for this single player, 106d and 107b (which is the one avaliable here. It's harder, preventing people to win the levels fast by rushing). This campaign have the original levels from Populous: The Beginning original game, but with improved scripts, making the levels harder to win, so if you really like those traditional levels but you want to try a harder challenge, this is a good campaign to start with! This campaign celebrates the 15th anniversary of Populous: The Beginning, which was released back in 1998 (this campaign was then released in 2013).
