I have been working on this "mod loader" in batch scripts. And let me tell you about it. I am half-way done with it.
Overall, it will save you the hazzle of having different copies of the "War of The Ring(tm)" folder and desktop shortcuts for each mod you want to have.
- It will require an initial setup of folder structure, where you put the program, where you put the mods, and how the mods are structured.
- It will run in a CMD.exe window.
- It will give you a list of mods (including original) to install. You select by entering a number.
- It will first copy original files, and then apply mod to ensure everything's correct.
- It will try to skip overwriting identical files, saving time.
