Hi, my name is Dmytro Moshlyak but I'd like to be called Owlahk (I like owls :D). I'd like to think of myself as Game Developer. I created a failed mod Conversion (which was canceled in 2015) and was partially involved in two released Portal 2 mods: Thinking with Time Machine (Steamworks integration, graphic designer), Aperture Tag (Steamworks integration).

Thank you for trusting me with the project, especially after the first one (Conversion) got canceled.

Sorry for no posts, currently I'm developing several skills needed for crafting this project.

These are:
1. 3D Modeling (Blender) + Rigging
2. Sound Design (Ableton)
3. Music composition (Ableton / FL Studio)
4. Level design (Hammer)

I'll keep you posted as soon as I have something to show.

I'll do my best to keep this project up to standards set by Conversion mod :)

There won't be many updates for now, but I'll be posting as soon as a major milestone of the dev cycle is surpassed.

Hi!

Since I'm the only dev from the Conversion team who's working on this project, I don't hold all rights to the original content. It would be wrong posting what's left from Conversion without team's consent and I don't think that they want to release that version to the public.

We'll see how it goes though.

I mean, I'm most definitely gonna be working on it.

It's my way of becoming a game developer.
By making ᴾᴿᴱPOSTSCRIPT, I acquire all necessary skills for my future indie games.

I've set a release date to late 2018 to have a goal and by making this public so early on, I have a pretty good motto for doing this.

It's a mini story-driven mod based on the ideas I had in Conversion. It's the same setting: pre-Portal 2, post-Portal 1 timeframe. It also has your good old pal Green, the core.

Hi Chapmic,

Sorry if you feel this way. We are truly sad about the decision that we made but it's for the best. The community that was built around this mod got out of our hand and the pressure to release a mod that's similar to the original game in quality got us into a corner. We decided that the product we made wasn't up to the standard in comparison to other great mods that were built around similar ideas (for example, Portal Stories: Mel).

We would love to get back to developing games, so I hope that this experience won't put a shadow on our future projects.

Hi,

This is not true. Not sure who was the contact, but I can tell you for sure that we are not planning to release anything related to the project. We are not comfortable with neither other teams finishing our project or putting raw unpolished project with our names attached to it.

Hi,

No need to build up hype. The App ID was shared with another Team (our friends) for Steamworks testing purposes.

The mod is canceled and the original team is busy with other projects.

I'm sorry to disappoint but we are not comfortable with other teams finishing our product. You are more than welcome to create your version of what might have happened between Portal 1 and Portal 2. We'd love to see what other people think of that timeline.

You are saying a lot of things that I "did" but how can you know? Were you there? Dont state on something, you don't know. And no one "kicked me out" the situation pushed me to go.

You are lying, as always, you "didn't know why you changed your opinion". You "didn't want to "disagree Edik", and after all you "didn't have your own opinion ". It is not me bad, coming with that idea, if you didn't support me fully, I wouldn't even try. Edik has chosen to do it for just making it done, not carrying much about what will be released. After all, your new mod changed "a lot" as you said in your new group, and it is betraying me, kicking out from project and taking my plan (I did proposed to leave some maps: concepts and puzzles with some changes and bug fixes). It is so disgusting.

You are not actually saying truth. Maybe Edik did say you something, I don't know what, but I have logs of that disscussion.

While the proposition was to remove everything, I said that the consepts of maps and puzzles out from them could be leaved.

In addition, you are saying that Edik was the only hard worker, I am sorry, but you are saying that mod only consists maps? My whole work was also "scrapped" and Atlas777 work too. Mod is not about maps, and that is what I am telling you all over again. We are not making mappacks, there are many of them on workshop. Moreover, Edik didn't just work days by days, he had a lot of time wasted: "creative crisis", "out of internet" issues and so on. There were about 13 buggy maps by nearly a year of development.

You are blaming me for that "scrapping everything" plan, but remember half-life 2. They have deleted a LOT of things, and mostly started from a clear folder after their beta got leaked, and thank for that hacker, we are not playing THAT half-life 2.

I wouldn't introduce and make my plan involved by just making the team to do it. I discussed it with Atlas777, and he agreed, that was the two votes out of three. Before he betrayed me.

Yes, I was. By scriptwriter who I was relied on. And, at summer, by Edik, who made be leave the project by saying that he owns this mod, and he has done everything. By Atlas777, who changed his opinion only because “Edik is his friend”.
