actually im going to make an areana shooter with turok and the other characters that will feature all the weapons for testing and balancing after that is done and all the game play is nailed down i will be making turok single/coop main game where you can play as either talset or joseph, all this when i finaly get to game play will be released weekly on updates so people can test out the game and offer feedback, when i am done hopefully all the assets and stuff will be able to replace the proxies and everything will come together.

actually im way ahead of you as you'll have a chance to find all the weapons from turok 2 in the game as well in well hidden spots that will be new to the maps but very unobtrusive to the original maps so people who simply wish to pass them by and play the game the way it was in 97 may do so.

well here we are after 4 months of being homeless we are now back up and working again, working hard to bring you guys TUROK ofcourse all updates are on facebook now so please stop there, it will be much easier to post there then here.

No but I will damn sure try. but to be honest i am updating lots of things related to movement and game play while trying to keep it as close to the original as possible, keep in mind tho that its going to be next to impossible to be exactly the same, but while your walking through the jungle and fighting off everything it should feel the same, the enemeies will be smarter and the environment will be more filled out, less empty to promote the feeling of a jungle or mountan or tree top village, while keeping the same layout as well as a cover system, not for you to use but the enemies they will take cover and whatnot but for your part its just run n gun.

yes actually going to move to UE4 as soon as we have the ability too, and to this will allow me to work much faster as the workflow on ue4 is much better then it is in udk also the blueprint system in that engine instead of scripting is out of this world awesome and i could totally do my own scripts, but one step better we now have an in house programmer, and a damn good one too. so back to your question. could you help sure your welcome to help by donation if you would like we have an open donation policy you can donate as much or as little time to the project as you want in what ever subject your comfortable with, you'll get your name in the credits and praise on the face book page.

No, not dead, my family and i just got over a small bout of homelessness for the last 4 months, we are getting back on our feet, technically we are still homeless but not to the extent we were. we are currently looking for a new home, and all updates are going threw facebook for simplicity, meaning i dont have to actually await a mod to approve my post nore do i have to have a min post lenght or picture for it, so there i post its up seconds rather then an hr or so.

keep up with the face book page too cause thats where im putting all the new updates, so much easier to work with. I think I will be moving away from Mod Db a bit not completely ill post large up dates here but for the smaller updates its to face book cause its less of a PITA.

there are no links yet when we get more work done i plan to release beta's for people to play as we go but the biggest issue is we dont have any game play elements just a random assortment of models. we are now on Facebook and hope to find a coder soon.

Yes its been a while tho but in the past i have never had any luck with such requests from the UDK forums, simply cause nobody seems to want to touch this with a 10 foot pole.

yep im still working on all of that, it will also be animated as well as a fully functional right arm for animation on changing ammo drums.

its the default Unreal 3 hud that comes with the UDK UT3 samples, it will be changed when i get to the ui stuff.

yes great engine if you have the cash to shell out other whys its just a mediocre engine at best. some of the stripped out stuff from the free version is some of the most needed parts, shadows, rendering, pathfinding, all that is stripped out. Don't get me wrong i totally plan on getting a unity licence at some point but not for a free fan remake game.

well its been in dev hell for the last few years i cant make up my mind on the damn engine cause they all have some pretty good advantages. seeing as how I'm not monetizing it in any way doesn't really matter what engine I use really. I wanted to use Unity for the publish to web thing but bah unity has to many problems for an fps game. and the free version doesn't give shadows or good shaders so meh it would look like crap, this is a face lift not a face smash, thought about torque for a bit but man its just got so many issues and little to no help or tutorials on how to do things with it, and the ones it does have are kinda hard to follow.

yes totally new weapons and some of the newer weapons from the other games in the series. basicly anything fun. turok had amazing weapons that were fun to use, we hope to add to that fun for no more then the sake of fun.

yep havent gotten that far with them yet. they arnt even colored really but i do like how they look

Well there will be fog still some places thicker than others it wont be as short a view distance though it will just be foggy thats all.

there are 2 light sources but sadly the material rendered darker then expected lol.
