Anyone know how to install via Steam? Can't get it to work with Command Post either.

If anyone comes to this mod page now, this mod is effectively finished. Sadly, I don't believe its possible to update for Epic/latest steam releases due to community-made tools no longer supporting the new versions. Its an old game, and by the time those updates came around folks who made the tools mostly moved on (can't blame them!).
The good news is that IF YOU'RE ON STEAM, then this mod *should* be usable forever, because you can install an older version using the steam beta interface.
Sorry, no idea. If the Mac version uses a different file/folder structure its likely it won't work, and I don't have a mac.
AFAIK, it is not possible to extend the total turns of a campaign. Many have tried/looked into it, but so far it has never worked.
Not sure I can, the file structure for the game was altered with the epic release and no longer works with the community-made tools for changing battlegroups and such. The community-made tools are super deprecated, even before the epic release.
Did you press 'enter' or another key? I get that too, but I press a button and it continues as normal.
As far as I know, no, it's not.
Sadly, no. This mod needs that older version of the game to function. It will crash otherwise.
No, I don't have the energy to completely rebuild this to be compatible with the new file structure since EGS' release.
I've released the cheat version. Let me know if there are issues.
Larry is correct, it cannot be turned off and I have no desire to make remake a version without this feature. If you learn how to use the mod suite its a relatively simple thing to do once you find the ground scanner value. Search the wargame forum for help.
Thankfully a lot of aircraft share the same groundscanner value, so changing one aircraft changes others, saving time.
I've considered it, but I'd have to figure out what to add given the timelines. I'm also playing less now.
I've made about all the changes I want to, but I'll probably release a 'political point cheat version' that lets you start with a lot of PP.
Uploaded V3. Going forward this will only support Steam, as I don't have this on EGS and I'd have to build it from the ground up to use post-EGS files for compatibility.
Please read the install instructions. I beg you. It's not hard, just opt into the beta and drop everything from the download into your game folder.
Ok, for STEAM users the mod might still work but I haven't tested it yet. In steam you can opt into a Red Dragon 'beta' if you right click on the game and go into its options from your game library. From there you can choose the pre-EGS compatability. It basically reverts to the game version before the Epic launch, therefore using the same file structure the mod needs.
Hypothetically it should work.
I don't have this on EGS so no idea how it would work. It likely won't.
Ugh, I've found a way to get the battlegroup manager to work with the latest update but it requires me to build the mod up completely from scratch. I don't know when I'll get around to it.
Yes, it appears Eugen completely changed how the underlying data folders are arranged and which game version .exes can be used. I needed an older version which was compatible with the battlegroup editor (separate from the modding suite).
Basically, the only things I can do with the regular modding suite is change aircraft vision and starting campaign points. A version of the mod compatible with the latest version would lose all battle group edits.
It should work with every steam update so long as you reinstall. Basically, it over-rides the default exe to load into the last compatible game version.
I can't make the german battlegroups arrive earlier. I've tried.

I have no idea, to be honest. I don't use EGS.
Oh right, that makes sense - I did notice while play testing the other day that the Jap tank regiments are just colossal spam fests. There's only that one regiment at that far eastern air field with Type 90s.
I'll look into maybe decreasing the excessive garbage tank spam and adding a few more higher quality tanks.
You can still use the improved campaign mod, just take the .exe from the game version it was last compatible with and replace the one in the main folder.
There was an error with V2's original upload. It has been fixed I think.
If it loads into a pink screen you have to press escape to get past, that means its working.
I used the wrong .exe, I'll upload a fix shortly.
Edit: updated this file with the fix, you'll have to redownload.
V2 will be released soon. Implements changes to the Narodnaya campaign.
If you have suggestions or notice errors please let me know.
So you're asking for more T-80s and T-90s added to the Russian regiments? For the record, as far as I can see only the North Koreans get an actual T-90, the Russians only have super advanced T-80 variants.
I'm not opposed to adding an obviously Russian T-90 to Russian decks even if it has a NK flag, just checking.
Yep, I was able to load some testing saves, but after attempting to load a 2 hour session or so after dinner it would pop in and then crash after a few seconds.
Many others are reporting the same issue. It's being looked into.
Do non-modded saves work fine for you? Mine do.
Had the same issue. Copy paste from what I posted on steam:
Ok so I think I got it to work? First, I set the game's launch options to STEAMMOD=1780988753 so it would start up into the mod.
Then, I went to my steamapps/common/EaW folder and set "runme2.exe" to start in compatability for Windows XP Service Pack 2.
But this deleted all my saves! Except it didn't. Oddly, when I'm NOT in compatibility mode all my saves were in:
C:\Users\*name*\Saved Games\Petroglyph\Empire At War - Forces of Corruption\Save
HOWEVER, since I started running compatibility mode my saves load, but now they're in:
C:\Users\*name*\AppData\Roaming\Petroglyph\Empire At War - Forces of Corruption\Save
Apparently this is related to read/write rules. Doesn't make much sense, because I am the only user and the admin for my machine, but whatever. If you go to
steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\log
and open the PGCrashCollector you may see an error. Error code 0x80070005 is what I had. It seems to be related to read/write issues based on my research.
Yeah I'm also unable to load GC saves. I'm able to do so in vanilla without a problem. Even if I jump into a GC for five seconds, save, and try to load that save it crashes (it does not with vanilla).
All saves created with the version of the mod released 13 Sep @ 11:15.
EDIT 2: //The below probably doesn't work, but leaving it here in case someone wants to try anyways//
EDIT: May have found a solution? My copy paste from my steam comment: Ok so I think I got it to work? First, I set the game's launch options to STEAMMOD=1780988753 so it would start up into the mod.
