Fullscreen at 6144x1152 :)
It would be nice to see the worn-down parts of the wood moved directly over the edges, as they are currently on the flat part of the stock.
I don't think I really need to go into specifics here, but the weapon balance is really poor. I'll wait until it's changed substantially before playing again.
Well, the INX mirror is a pile of crap. I'm getting about 15KB/s at most and my line is reportedly pulling 5Mb/s from speedtest. I wish you had uploaded to somewhere decent like megaupload that would have absolutely zero issues with bandwidth.
It would be nice to have a temporary rapidshare or megaupload mirror until moddb gets sorted out.
Does anyone know if the difficulty sclaes correctly with the number of players? I was playing the campaign with my brother and we where forced into playing medic/technician in order to have sufficient utility, but we lacked having a balanced squad since AI players do not join, making the game very difficult even on normal.
Changelog looks fantastic. I'll give these a go right away. Thanks guys ;)
EDIT: Have to wait for authorisation :(
Any chance of a temp. mirror?
I'll commence my life as a bum in 2 weeks when i've finished my A-Levels :)
The image is 3072x1110, edit it down yourself.
Works great with the steam version too. Thanks :)
Damn you Rizz! You had me read the whole thing before it clicked XD
It's in the root of the CoH directory
This isn't working for me. Running the shortcut created by the installer does nothing. The directory is correct and i've already tried a reinstall of the mod. Using the steam version of CoH.
Shocking and sad news. I wish all the best to the Dev team and hope you enjoy doing other things.
The level of support for this mod is fantastic. Keep up the great work EF team =D
Great to see patches so soon. EF team, you are awesome!
Don't ask for content like this on moddb. CoH is 75% off on steam at the moment for this weekend. If you want to play the mod, buy the game.
I'm finding that the Soviets are fairly underpowered compared to the original armies. The 'No Recrewing' feature really damages my defensive capabilities. I will keep playing to get more practice. Maybe they will seem more even then.
Fantastic work on the mod overall. I always wanted to play as Russia :)
Awesome stuff! Just have to wait 8 hours for the download. Damn you Tiscali!!! *shakes fist*
Damn. I have an essay to write tonight.
I wanna play :(
Stop flamming now or get reported to an admin. These comments are ment to be about the mod, not politics and ideology.
"New unit / new model: U.S. Jeep with Recoilless Rifle (Limit: 2)"
Awesome... will try it out now.
Ohh, got to love millenia awesome skinning skills.
There is an upgrade you need to buy from the Motor Pool in order to build a supply yard. It sould be at the bottom left of the build options.
That's fair enough if it's just the increased amount of units. Thanks for the promp response :D
Sorry 'bout the reply on my first comment. To answer your question, this is in English but with a lot of authentic German names for German units, but everything else is in English. Basically the same language layout as the original games.
This mod is exactly what Company of Heroes needed to liven up the gameplay. The Troop size adjustments, changed damage system, new units and new upgrade / command point structures are fantastic. I very much look forward to future updates that work on balancing all the new units and upgrades.
I do, however, have a concern about the game performance. The CPU usage when running this mod is much higher than the usual game. I have noticed that even when running the game maxxed out in DX9 at 2048x1152 and 4xAA on a 5770 and e8200 at 3GHz, GPU usage will be stuck at around 40%, CPU at 100% and frame rates dipping into the teens in a 2v2 game. The game without the mod will run 4v4 games much better than this. If this is simply what it takes to run then so be it, but if there are any performance issues that can be fixes without impacting the gameplay it would be nice to have these introduces.
Fantastic work on the mod, and good luck with winning COH:OF mod of the year ;)
The installation is incredibly simple. I'm suprised that people are struggling so much with this. Just open each of the .rar files with 7zip or winrar and use the password: h.-A.-u.-N.-e.-b.-U.-3
With both files extracted, install part 1/2, then 2/2 into your BF2 installation directory that it automatically detects.
Now start BF2. Go to the community tab, then custom games. Select fh2 and then activate. BF2 will restart and launch the FH2 mod.
Do you have any plans to intergrate support for the Novint Falcon controller?
It's a complete long-shot since none of you probably use one, just curious since it has been officially supported in a few valve games including the HL2 series.
