Hi, there is no visual damage on vehicles , although there are particle effects appearing as a result of crashes.

In this game you don't feel the absence of the dashboard cam because this game is more like a driving game. (Like in GTA you don't feel the need of dashboard cam)

However as a gamer myself i started playing Grid 2 yesterday but i couldn't play more than 2 races because they removed dashboard cam and the cars are fun to control from the back of the car view. In Ocean City Racing the current cam feels just right with the dynamic cam feature. (Camera is not constant , moves with speed, brakes , turns and immerses player into action.

The handling was created in a way to give a real life driving experience in a city environment. You have to drop your speed to make turns , but even going at 60 km/h feels a lot faster than other games because the sense of speed is the same as real life.
If you go over 200 km/h it feels really fast , while at games like NFS 200km/h feels quite slow.

Also every vehicle have their own mass values , physic assets , acceleration , gear ratios and top speeds so every car reacts different than each other.

at DefaultInput.ini for example if you find

and change Y to B , the control would change.
I only had 1 programmer working on the game and he was working part-time on the project and this was not possible to do.
I did the control scheme for xbox gamepad myself and tried to keep it as close as possible to the other driving games.

Yeah the game is influenced by all the open world games that i enjoyed playing and a mixture of all.
Ocean is blocked , you can't go inside water. I captured the gameplay in 1 take there are 4-5 awkward moments:)

There is no dashboard cam.

The Minimum Ram is: 2GB System RAM (2.5GB for Free Roam Mode)
The tick tock sound is the intro sound of Free Roam Mode.
If you were able to run the Free Roam before and can't run it now , it means your system is using more ram at other things compared to the last time you start the game.
Try restarting the pc , not starting any other software and if you are using win7 use windows classic theme.
Free Roam can use up to 1.4 gb of ram. (Time-Trial and race uses around 1.2 gb)

There isn't mp at the current release version. 3 game modes: free roam , race and time-trial.

The 'Unreal Frontend' software by default cooks games for PC , MAC an iOS. And we are not allowed to change source code of these softwares on commercial projects.

Are you trying standalone download or download from desura client?
