can't wait to see a new version from the team. I just checked Mod DB for the first time in about 6 months and found that you guys were planning on continuing it. I loved the last release and actually played the **** out of it at LANs years ago.
If you guys want my help, I have the resources to do pretty much anything. I'm running a Debian server on about a 100mbit connection. I also have a little experience in modeling and have done quite a bit of coding with q3 engine in the past.

I find all this fun, but I have no intention of making or playing games as a profession. I'm currently going to school in computer engineering, though. It would be cool to work for the next nVidia or something imo.

As far as your post on the poll goes, I don't think you realize that UE3 so far has won moddingwise as CyberMan said. The engine has been used in a selection of games already. Gears of War and Rainbow Six: Vegas would be prime examples.

This mod looks very promising. Definately one I'd like to see finished and get a taste of.

Oh, sorry for the double post but I just found out something I think is important regarding the Amp II engine.
The next version coming out, 1.4, will have physics support, which should be something to consider.

Sorry cheapy, but last I checked, the $100 for torque is personal use only. The commercial use package is $750.

If there was only one, of course I would pick Deathball, but I have a different idea rather than just hosting one game.
I think it would be a great idea to just see whatever mod is in the Mod of the Month spot have a server hosted for it (supposing it is multiplayer). This would require Mod of the Month to be updated more though.

Not too original of a concept, but still a great one. There have been others like this, but I can't seem to recall a single one being completed. I'm sure you'll be able to pull it off with the Source engine though, good luck.

I thought the standard multiplayer of Quake 4 was going to include most of this. Pretty sure it wouldn't have some of that other cool stuff like BR and Freeze Tag, so cool by me.

Hey guys, if you preorder, I suggest going through EBGames because they offer a free tshirt. Not sure if any of the other vendors does this. Also, the Special DVD Edition is only $10 more and has a bit of extra goodies for ya, so if you have a DVD-Rom (who doesn't these days) I would suggest gettiong the Special DVD Edition.

This mod has always looked so great, but the wait is killing me. Good mods shouldn't be rushed, I know, but I want it so much.
