Here's a short demo of me playing as the predator in the Aliens versus Predator Gold Edition total conversion mod, Cancer Black. The mod can be downloaded here: Indiedb.com
You'll notice the normal vision mode is bugged. This is a problem with running Gold Edition and any related mods on Windows 7 or higher. The AvPx mod does not help with this. Theoretically if the code was updated it might be playable but since the mod itself is unfinished, there's probably not much point. The mod is also very crash-prone.
The predator's weapons: Wristblade, Combi-Stick, Plasmacaster, Wrist Launcher, Medi-Comp, Netgun (bugged, will cause the game to crash if used), Speargun, Dart Gun, Smart Disc.
Predator's vision modes: Normal, Heat-Based (blue - used for marines), Cold-Based (grey - used for detecting metal materials and aliens), Movement-Based (red - highlights anything moving).
Recorded with Fraps on Windows 7, 64-bit. The mod was installed to my Gold Edition folder, however, I've been told that it works when installed to the AVP Classic 2000 folder as well. Alien and marine vision modes are bugged, though. The predator is the only species you can realistically play as on a modern operating system, however, the AMP Team decided to make the predator unable to operate any marine technology. Combine this with the removal of the grappling hook and this means the predator can't actually complete any level (except Battle, I guess). I played Stranded by renaming it to Fall.rif in my avp_rifs folder.
