Like the Fireborn, the projectile can leave you in Fire Damage, -1 HP per second with the screen in fire!
Lair of the Blind Ones spiders can leave you with Poison Damage, most tiny spiders make you loose -0.5 HP per second for 5 seconds for example, the Biggest spider can make you loose -3 HP per second for 3 seconds!
Oh yeah, I dont like them too, Fireborns are great idea, they only appear on lava places!
The guts, brain and other gory things depends of the weapon you used to kill a enemy?
Also, the Nuke (again) will still freeze the enemy?
I have an idea in which when the Nuke explodes, the enemy dies in an instant and gory way where all their organs and parts fly away, as when an Endtrail commits suicide by exploding, only that it dismisses its body parts in the air! (Sorry if it's bad english, I had to use a translator, It's hard for me to write what I think in English)

I have an idea where those soldiers can appear, there are red hidden portals (like sisters of dispair portals) in River of Souls, I dont know what you can find in those portals, but the map is very dark like Dark City cheat, and those soldiers will appear and scare you!

I was searching for mods, because I've heard that there are mods for Turok, I clicked here, So, I saw this mod, I've read what the mod offers, I'm really shocked by the bunch of things that it offers, I never imagined something as brutal as all that!, sounds that it will be a bit more complex, but more fun!!! But.... I see this is only and idea you are working on it, if this can be free, I download it no matter what! I want to play Turok with this brutal mod!!!
