I now have the Release mod as a folder within 'Mods' without using 7zip.

Moving onto unlocking of the Battlefield single missions.

I can see them within 'game progress set'.

In order to safely overwrite the contents of same named file Men of War/profiles/ player do I simply drag & drop the file ( Men of War/profiles/player) into say a new file I can create in Desktop then drag & drop Battlefield single missions in its place?

I have watched south park but did not recall the quote, sorry.

My progress so far is this.

I run the application Global War Release.

I go to Windows Explorer to find the correct path to Men of War Mods.
I then start the process to extract the application into the Mods folder.I am careful to find the correct path to the mods folder using the browse option.
However the browse option shows my previous attempt at extracting the Release mode with a small orange padlock next to 7z Global_War_- _ Release _ 1.0.exe
I get stuck because I cannot find what is inside the 7z.......... application.
I hope this helps you help me.

I would enjoy the mode even more when I am able to get at the game_progress.set file which is inside the 7z............. folder.

I been able to use previous versions of your mod no problem at all.

Should I be placing 'release 1.0 exe' in Men of War Mods then extracting it because I do not see a folder for your latest mod. I see only the Application .

Update.

I have friendly and opposing forces. I placed the Global war Application in mods and started the Global war mod again.

I cannot follow how I unlock all the Battlefield maps.
I only have the one map called Bazerville.

I cannot start to play the latest version.
I can download it then extract it to Mods folder.
I go to options then apply the mod.
The opening map only shows opposing forces.

I have enjoyed playing EF for some time now but after installing the latest patch ( 1.80) I use the launcher but it says unable to locate the COH directory.

I have followed the readme instructions you give but I am having problems.

When extracting the files to the COH main folder I get "cannot create improved\ then the name of the folders.
(There are a lot of these).
I also get "the system cannot find the path specified"

I have used rar before without this occurring.

I am extracting the rar files into the pathway you recommend (COH main folder).

I was nervous about using rar in case i corrupted the other mods/or COH version 2.602 i have installed already.
I haven't used any previous versions of Back to Basics .

Is there anything else i should be careful of when installing Battle of the Basics please ?

I am keen to try Back to Basics but before I do does this mod change the vanilla COH in any way ?
I play Blitzkrieg and Eastern Front as mods and I would like to have BTB as well.

I have not tried to install your mod before.
Is your mod compatible with COH Opposing fronts?
I enjoy Blitzkrieg mod which is straight forward to install.

I extracted the zip file to the Blitzkreig main folder .I have the same Sherman pink sandbags showing up after doing this .The pink is showing on some German armour.

I have noted what you say about version 4.6.1.1 ( Only use it if you get a synch error ).
However I need to install 4.6.1.1 if I am to install patch 4.6.2.0
Please can you clarify.
It seems that version 4.6.1.1 needs to be installed regardless of whether you get synch errors or not.
