Instructions on how to install a Killing Floor custom map.
#1: Shut down Killing Floor.
#2: Download and extract map files.
( File is in compressed zip so you need to extract files. I used 7-Zip found here: 7-zip.org )
Keep a window open with unzipped files showing. You should see several folders (maps, animations, system, textures etc) and a couple other misc files.
#3 Next, we need to locate your Killing Floor folder.
a Click Windows start icon in lower right of screen then click "Computer".
b Click "System Reserved C:"
c Click "Program Files" or "Program Files (x86)" if u have it.
d Click "Steam"
e Click "steamapps"
f Click "common"
g Click "Killing Floor"
You should now see a stack of folders that include "maps" etc.
#4 Copy them paste files you downloaded and extracted in "maps" folder. If you are prompted to "over-write\" click "ok".
That's it you are done! You can now restart Killing Floor.
Please note: Compressed uz2 file included for server use.

Well at least the DLCs for Killing Floor are cheap. I am planning more skins as well so I will try to focus a little more on the original characters and see what I can come up with. You may want to download my Sid Wilson skin here: Indiedb.com

Well quite a few require DLCs. This one requires the Killing Floor Nightfall Character Pack and replaces Mr. Foster.

Inside the download you will see a couple folders. Look inside the "system" folder and you will see the name of the character it replaces in the filename. Good luck!

I click "ignore" and it still works fine... just get the startup errors. NOT COMPLAININ'! Cool tool.
