Oh man, Had to dust off the old profile to write this one down. I am another devout lurker who is exited by the release of V7. I would just like for you (current lead developer VGames) to know that what you have done with the aid of your team rivals that of AAA developers. Successfully turning Doom 3 into a modern game without removing what made it Doom 3 is truly remarkable. I look forward to trying out V7 and have no doubt it will meet expectation and beyond, thank you for your time and effort in making this a reality.

Now I won't be surprised if this is way beyond modding but I was wondering if there was a way to "take seat" of the AI players (disable the AI and control the said empire. I ask because I want to set up specific battles and as you would imagine the AI is not too co-operative.

Thanks for the reply,but as it turns out the issue was the ai freaking out over whether it could build a saved ship design I made while using the tech level mod and the game deciding that this minor error was worthy to close everything.

Is there a way to which I can use a newer version of Black Box with the Mod Super Pack V4 as I am experiencing a "phantom damage bug" where ships armed with the flak cannon are able to do damage well beyond the weapons range and they simply delete ship modules bit by bit as if the weapon is firing. However no projectile actually ejects. I have tried updating the Black box version but all I get is 10 min into the game until a wild crash appears. And no attempts at clean installs of either old or new have bore any fruit. If you require logs I can provide. If this is a poor place to post this sorry then I can relocate.

Grande mod, does more than just stuff with new units, it adds new dynamics to the game itself.
But I do have a pick to bone with the UI/Ability clash
as much as I love competent AI not only will a unit upgrade UI look better but by restricting the AI from upgrading individual units we can make it more of a swarm type of AI because of the limitations of its intelligence (will it truly use the upgrades effectively or just slap them on whenever.
Would appreciate a reply, even if it butchers this
