For your first issue, levels ups currently give 5 points of Power (you start with 50), so all of your attacks do more damage per hit. I do see your point point in increasing Attack Speed, and I'll try it during some test runs and see how it feels. As an aside, there is an item that temporarily increases Attack Speed (the Boom Box) and there is a shrine buff that increases Attack Speed temporarily.

As to your second point about getting lost, I'm of 2 minds about it. The maps actually don't change (just the things inside them) and I kind of want players to learn them over time, but that may be too frustrating. What do you thnk of a Compass button that briefly points in the direction of the next gate?

Finally, Shrines mostly give buffs that last 30 seconds. There is a very small chance of them dropping an Item or giving a large amount of Orbs as well? Do you think that they cost too many credits? What about the cost of Health and Energy shrines?
