Mud is pretty sticky, and can be used to your advantage to slow down potatoes that are after you. However, keep in mind that potatoes are much better at moving through mud than you are.

Working on the AI for the adult potatoes. Nothing infuriates them more than the sound of their young being fired out of your weapon. Randomly shooting stuff without checking the area first can be a bad idea.

Hello from Potato Planet!

NumbatNinja Blog

We have been developing Potato Planet! since January 2015 and have waited much too long to join the community here.

Potato Planet! is a first person action physics puzzle game. Your only resource is potatoes. Baby potatoes are harvested to use as ammo, power, and food. The giant adult potatoes are angry and dangerous.

The object of the game is to solve physics puzzles, find bits of tech to upgrade your weapon and repair your crashed spaceship and avoid getting killed by giant potatoes.

Here is our latest #ScreenshotSaturday video highlighting the splattering effect of your potato projectiles, as well as the slippery properties of the mashed potatoes left behind when you kill an adult potato.

Additionally, the tractor beam now drops any item you are holding if a stationary object gets in the way of the beam.
