Today I visited to see if there was any news and OH **** an update.
1st of March. Well done Xatoku, keep going, slowly but surely!

Starting the launcher in Admin mode worked for me.

I understand your opinion regarding open-source projects, PG is your work and only you can understand its style, its philosophy and what it's meant to be. But IMO it would be a good idea to ask people to create content (pokemons and their moves' animations, maps, clothing for trainers etc.) as devotted fans on the forums already do.
And while the game wouldn't be open-source, you still could review some user-created content, and add it to the game if you like it.
As an example, Valve is doing this with the TF2 Workshop, adding user created items to the game.

In conclusion, not doing it an open-source project but a cooperative project, with you keeping it oragnized and tidy; without taking your time away so you can think about your life choices.

Good luck with everything, the project and most importantly your life.
Just keep in mind you got supportive and comprehensive fans. We'll wait, and have faith in your project :)
