1/19/16 Update

It has been a few weeks since I have released a new update. I have been facing some recent personal challenges that have lessened the amount of time I have been able to work on the game. During this time I have been working on implementing an auto save system which has proved to be quite challenging. Although this has slowed production a little bit I want you to know that I am still diligently working on the game and it has not been abandoned. The doorway to the future has opened up a great opportunity that has allowed for me to be able to focus much of my time into working on and promoting Extravaganza and my ultimate vision for the game series, which you can read more about in our company profile here on indiedb.

12/29/15 Update

Changed spawn location of player ship to bottom center of the screen.

Changed extra ship power-up to spawn facing the same direction as the player ship.

12/20/15 - Update 2

Experimenting with the speed boost power-up. Will be further experimenting with the speed power-up and giving each ship different stats until i'm satisfied with the feel.

Cleaned up behavior of bonus ship and also added removal when main ship is destroyed.

Added glow around bonus ships.

Fixed player ship thrust stopping when changing from new spawn to active player.

Fixed image angle resetting to facing right instead of the same angle as the ship before it was frozen after the final dialogue.

12/20/15 Update

Added new power-up: Bonus Ship, creates another player controlled ship in the game. The extra ship is moved and fires while you move your primary ship. Makes for a wild and trippy time.

12/18/15 Update

Fixed power-ups - mis-triggering and multi-triggering of power-ups resolved, power-ups now trigger every time.

Fixed speed power-up so instead of giving you a one time speed boost it increases ships acceleration and increases ships top speed.

Increased damage of red spinning laser with stage one boss ufo.

Added spark effect and sound for red spinning laser and player collision.

Added explosions for ufos.

12/9/15 Update

Android Controls are working. Still have a few adjustments to make with them. Will release Android when Demo is complete.

Adding new booster flame to ships. 2 ships completed so far.

Stage one boss meeting - added wobble and streaming smoke as he leaves the battlefield.
