companies are stupid, it is basicly free promotion that modders are making these for other games. like the whole youtube copyright war that might get youtube to lose all of its best users. and he kinda has made money off of these in a way.. with donations. but i fully support all forums of mods and torrents and such, why pay when you can get free

the nexus site is a bad joke, their bans are so simple to avoid and get around, follow these steps

1) if you have a smart phone or any good phone that can use the internet or an ipad grab it
2) go to a star bucks cafe or any place with free internet and make a new account
3) go home and log into the new account
4) (optional) if you want to check your forum messages and you are IP banned ask someone who lives close enough to you to use their internet and access the forums that way
5) you are done.

i mean if you make a mod site that allows sex mods, child killing, nazi mods, and other XXX mods but bans you on the spot for negitive talking about the nexus even if it is a simple comment, and <insert stupid reason here> list would be too long if i listed them all.

if you make a mod site you either go all or nothing. you needs to allow all mods no matter what they are or you limit any mods that are not E for everyone (example XXX mods, and other adult mods) the nexus mistreats people but is glad to take their mods once they ban you. it is how community sites crumble and die off. the nexus will fail might not be over night or even a decade but it will crash once it steps on the toes of say the derp squad or some other hacker group member

i had to actually dig through the options to figure out how to turn on manual blocking but still auto blocks everything so making the challenge of multi blaster wielding foes pretty much useless, all you need to stand is spawn 20 stormtroopers and then you just stand there and the troopers will kill them selfs due to your instant blocking and returning of the blaster bolt's with pitch perfect aim.

btw to turn on manual blocking you need to go into the option and i believe it is somewhere in movent section. and you can set it up in there.

i mean this mod is cool now but you need to fix it so we can 1 pick any and all maps in both outcast and academy. AND! also have it so they are playible and fix the kyle bug that has him 1) copy your skin and what wep's you have equipt also he attacks you every time he is spawned, not sure why it happens but i assume it has to do with you having kyle's skin be replaced with our own for outcast map play or having the kyle skin be used as a normal random jedi spawn.

so much in this mod is wrong but so much of this mod is right. it is just a mess at times. and while i had to bitch about things like mods and such but it is a strong belief of mine that if you make a mod or a game you better damn well polish that turd before you release it and you have done some good polishing... of large but mostly small things that do not really effect the game play.

if you fix those problems i listed and clean up some of the map issues then you got yourself a damn near perfect mod and while i know not every thing can be fixed, and yes things take time and effort but you know what else takes effort? innovation.

here is some more things you need to try and fix or atleast address to your fan base

you NEED to not have all the SBD and jedi/sith npc's spoam the **** out of the side punch ability, you cannot enter a saber duel without going in melee range then within 2 seconds you get knocked around, and if there are say 5 dark jedi one basicly knocks you into the other and btw the damage on the punch knockbacks are way to much, infact it shouldnt even hurt at all. i think you mistake skilled combat with annoying mechanics that do not take skill to get around. example just side punch them and then jump stab them... no skill to do that, you got to make it so they do not spam that as often, maybe once in a blue moon they will use a kick or two but not 30 within a span of 10 seconds.

also korriban2 is unable to be used if you go dark side.. light side vs of this map works perfectly.. you got to fix that other wise it ruins the game for dark siders like me >:) even at the end of my dark side choice on taspir2 and i quickly press ~ and type devmapall kor2 it will load but the load bar will flicker back and forth a tiny bit, but i can hear the npcs talking and fighting and the map music playing in the background. this is a big issue and if you know of a fix on my end let me know so i may inform your fan base since you do not do it.

also you need to fix the random spawns you get in some maps like ill be on the tram car map and out of know where there is darth vader, palpatine, and a rancor on the tram car.... this needs to be fixed or atleast have fixed locations where a random boss will show but a random pick that would make since, like a rebornmaster or something.

also vjun3 does not work, it does the same thing as kor2 does and nar shadaa streets does not move past the bartender convo it freezes mid sentence. not a game freeze just the convo just stop's

....Continued..... and i know this might not be something you want to hear but we all need criticism every once in a while even more so if it is constructive criticism. i feel this mod can be truly great if you spend less time changing the UI and how the game plays out and more time just making the game play awesome with some side options if we just want a certain map. and i agree with the other posters you NEED a document or a in depth video on how to perform these special moves other wise most of you're work will be useless because we cannot use the abilities to their fullest.

if i had to rate this mod it would be a 6 out of 10. above average but with all the bugs and your lack of fixes and even just a lack of addressing the big issues you just seem to ignore people unless they are kissing up too you.

so much potential lies under the surface here and it sickens me that not only there is a lack of addressing your fairly large issues and lack of support. but you keep changing it up, the return of the jedi edition.. like really? blocking happens automatically? you know how hard it to fight 12 storm trooper's, 5 reborn master's on jedi master difficulty AND fighting the controls at the same time? it is a challenge sure but, come on there is such a thing as too much

yeah this mod seems to be more trouble than it is worth. which is a shame i really love how the combat work's
i have a non steam verson
and use windows 7

and my problems with these mods are
1) i cannot do some missions due to the following
A) any that have kyle because he ends up being a clone copy of me and will be hostile
B) cannot play the nar shadaa streets, and hoth due to the conversations or cut sence freeze in place
C) korriban will not work the first part works fine but then when i clear it and start to load to the last part of korriban i load in but the screen is frozen with the loadscreen title card but i can hear the music and fighitng of npc's in the back ground.

2) saves do not work. so i have to either try and remember the devmap commands if they work seems like they only work when they want to.

want some free advice? just delete this mod and give us the ability for the combat in the regular game. your messing with the code, and not only changing things around but in the process you break things, code is like dropping a stone in a small pond. you make a ripple effect and one wrong move can send the whole pond out of balance.

but do this instead. allow us to play the main storyline of jedi academy as it is but put in the in game menu to be able to go light/dark side, spawn npc's and stuff. and then a separate button for outcast play through with these same in game options. then add another window to have it so where we can pick the maps. not just a select few but ALL of them. simple yet just enough to get an awesome mod. it might not be fully personalized like what you have now. but it will work better universally for most if not all user's.
