The style of fighting is not like in KOTOR, it is left click for normal attack, hold left click for power attack, right click is block. It feels a lot more like you are actually fighting than in KOTOR, since you are directly controlling the attacks.

I was never bugged by the graphics in oblivion, they sometimes look a bit old, but they fit the game. If I were you I would buy Oblivion.

There is no explicit sexual content in Oblivion, though I thinks it's possible to hear some jokes about it through some dialogue in the game.

-Only if you kill one of the Gondorrian guards

-I personally prefer Oblivion over Skyrim, but I'm sure everyone else has their own opinion. They are both amazing games, and are very different. I always thought that combat and graphics are more fun in Skyrim but the quests, world and story always seemed to be more fun in Oblivion.

-It's now your choice between story or combat

P.S. This is only my opinion, take from it what you will

The oblivion MERP had a full height map, some Gondor armoured guys, some main cities, no quests, and few npcs, but to be honest you should get oblivion anyway. It's an awesome game and it'll be fun with and without MERP

Actually, one of the ways they are using to defend their case is that the mod is non profit, if they charged for the mod then they would have an even bigger problem.

I looked through the lawsuit, and Tolkien estates main problem with WB seems to be that they released downloadable content (non-tangible) and gambling merchandise. You wont have a problem with the gambling, but wont Tolkien estates simply pick up where WB left off as the mod will also be non-tangible.

I agree, it will be a shining beacon in my life that, when fully realised, will fulfil my life's desires and bring me to new levels of happiness in this seemingly teddy-less world.

This is the best app ever, and its obviously going to become a true testament to the hard working British citizen. Not only will it represent their true preserverance and scrupulous nature, but it will push the app industry forward into a new realm of interesting and inventive game mechanics... Good luck living up to this. =)

A few days ago the lord of the rings online riders of rohan trailer on youtube page was saturated with merp messages, today Warner Brothers actually blocked all the comments... we're getting through!

He also admitted to hating the lord of the rings movies. He said “They gutted the book, making an action movie for 15-25 year olds. And it seems that The Hobbit will be of the same ilk." He probably wouldn't like a game being made of it either unfortunately.

One of the Devs said this on the forum. "Something important is going on atm we'll soon post something in an update on moddb."

Hope it's good news

Actually I did the math, and if rohan was 90 times larger than skyrim it would still only be about a sixth the size of wales, and one hundred and sixty forth the size of France.

They have built a completely new engine for Rome 2, and some of the features are awesome. You can put troops on ships and attack with your navy, and then land troops on the beach from your ships in the same battle. The graphics look amazing from the screenshots I've seen. I just hope they allow for easy modding

Steam games don't need the internet to play them, but they usually have to be activated once through internet connection when you install the game. You can still play skyrim in steam's offline mode

Fair enough, but I also had an idea. Could there possibly be another game mode that you could choose a specific battle of middle earth at the main menu, and you spawn at the location of that battle just before it starts, a kind of historical battle mode.

Have you guys planned any sort of extended waiting option, because I've been thinking, if for example you wanted to wait until a specific battle, but it was months off, would you have to play the entire time, or would there be some way for the player to wait that long?

Yeah that would be great, I remember in fallout 3 I used to collect all of the named special weapons. Most of them were rubbish and did barely any damage but it was fun to get them anyway. It really felt like I had achieved something when I got all of them.

A mod was just released that adds knock down and damage when you charge into someone with your horse, is there going to be knock down when you charge into people when mounted, because it would be epic for when there is a rohirrim charge, and the orcs/uruk-hai go flying!

I kind of miss the Fallout 3 levelling up, how you would get xp and then when you levelled you got to spend your skill points and pick a perk. Skyrim's levelling system is good, but I think I prefer Fallout 3's.

Have you guys thought about changes to the dungeons, for example the lighting. It always seems to me that caves/dungeons are just too bright. There doesn't seem to be any light source, but you can see perfectly well. Are you going to change things like this for caves?
