Yes,do a search for Nato Invasion mod through google. There is a clear sky version and a COP version. Nato Invasion I created with full size (single player maps) for multiplayer / COOP play. I never released the version 2 yet, maybe in the future I will. The version 2 uses the scripts from Stalker Online to spawn in mutents and NPC's for COOP play. Other usefull additions to ver1 Nato Invasion was torchs for night play and night vision and much more. Cheers.

Nato Invasion 1.0 (CS & COP) seeks to expand multiplayer (lan/vpn or server). Its is free roam mutiplayer on full size maps.
Full size maps are available rather than small corners of maps from vanilla. Better textures sounds environment etc.
Enables torches for night play and night vision too.

SoProject is a different mod, it runs scripts for spawning in mutants and npc's (stalkers/bandits) into the maps this has been scripted for.

Nato Invasion 2.0 (for COP only) is currently under development and will merge Nato Invasion with soproject scripts to allow for spawning of mutants and npc's into the available maps on Nato Invasion. Also 2.0 will work on other scripts such as hunger, trading, teleportation from activated anomolies or artifacts and much more (explained in readme under future projects). The readme and information pack is available in the download to any of the Nato Invasion downloads, alternativly here search page 3 or 4 of this forum of comments to find drop box link to readme.

If you are experiencing problems with opening mp maps it is usually due to a broken download try downloading again.
Also you must use the latest verion of 7Zip to unpack.
Make sure fsgame.ltx is true - true for game data.
Take out the vanilla mp maps and store them somewhere else until you uninstall Nato Invasion.
If you try this and it still does not work then I will investigate.
Nobody else has reported any issues after this has been doen correctly.

Yes I know, but I would like to keep this series together, which is now going to be just COP mod. Rather than having to spread the mods to different sections of moddb. Also it is easier for the followers of SoProject and Nato Invasion to keep track. Also for me to comment on the development of the series. There is many reason....

Nato Invasion 1.0 for Clear Sky follows in the flavour of the COP version.
This is another mod for multiplayer Lan/VPN networks although it can also be run on servers too.
Nato Invasion 1.0 for Clear Sky also does not have soProject scripts and I do not intend to add these scripts in the future.
In many ways this Clear sky version is better than the COP version due to Clear sky engine always being the nicest looking graphics etc.
Ambient atmospheric music should be available within most maps as usual.
Some locations are to be expected - Cordon, Swamps, Garbage etc.
I will now only continue with the development of Nato Invasion COP version 2.0 with the implementing of many new ideas (mentioned in future versions element of the readme) and the all important soProject scripts. You should all be ready to upgrade your gaming rigs for when the lovely Nato Invasion 2.0 becomes available in Autumn 2014 :)

All settings and configs from COP version implemented.

I have now uploaded the Clear Sky version of Nato Invasion 1.0

Work will now continue on COP Nato Invasion 2.0 merged with soProject scripts and some of the various implementions I have mentioned in the bottom of my readme file.

ETA of version 2.0 Nato Invasion is Autumn 2014 - Exact date TBC.

Updates will now only come for COP version as working on two mods simultaniously would be too big a task for me right now.
However depending on the download success and feedback I recieve from Clearsky version I may update it too in the future.

Depends on the mod, but 99% no. soProject or NatoInvasion will not work with other mods.
But if you like something in a mod you can try to merge it 'one piece at a time' try, what ya got to lose? make backups regularly copy and paste copy and paste and so on:)

Please use same version 7Zip extractor to unzip the mod then put game data into stalker directory. Best also to remove vanila mp map files out of folder so that they are not mixed in with the mods mp maps when viewed in game. There should be 8 maps included in this demo version of NATO INVASION.
When downloading mods and extracting it is also best to watch very closely to see if your anti virus is vaulting or cleaning essential files. Sometimes a cleaning of file will not remove it from location but will stop a script or line of code from working correctly.

I should state that it is most enjoyable to play this over long periods with lan parties, although sometime hopefully someone might take this and host it on a perpetual server. As far as my knowledge goes nobody has done this sort of mod before for multiplayer. Opening up the world of stalker in multiplayer even as far as the full map sizes are concerned is whats unique. I know modern day games are all about small maps and players with submachine guns continually spawning in just to die a few seconds later but many stalker series gamers like to have a slower paced game with exploring and atmosphere included and also some micromanagement. The including of night vision and torches also makes use of the night time gameplay. The soProject concept has many possibilities that as of yet have not been fully realised.

This expands on multiplayer, enables abilities that vanilla multiplayer does not allow for, full size maps, better graphics, sounds, music so on. The version 2 that I am working on includes the merging with soProject which allows for mutants and npc's to be spawned in multiplayer too. Basically open world free roam mode for multiplayer with mutants and npc's. In the future as I said, I would like to include traders artifacts etc.
I admit, its a narrow dream of mine and for the most extreme hardcore stalker fans. If you are happy just to play vanilla multiplayer then this mod is not for you:)

Please remember that players must buy the torch and the nightvision kit in game to be able to use it. Night vision will also need the player to be wearing armour.

Future versions:

I am hoping in the near future to add more customizable preferances when installing the mod (i.e how big the scopes hud's are, etc)

enable extra ported maps for ai/mutent spawn //maps have been done for single player just need to compile in dbf. format

enable more different types of anomolies for all maps

enable blow outs for multiplay and lan

enable custom music for all mp_maps (most already do)

check all weapon sounds are best for weapon (as further versions come out then i will implement better sounds to weapons)

enable trading/dialoge with traders and npc's

use hunger script (so players need to eat ever so often)

use proper pda maps and user gps system (player should be able to see the map via his pda and also set waypoints)

use better hud compass (compass in game only has red and blue, should have N,S,E,W direction)

maybe a script for teleportation via certain anomolies or activated artifacts (this will give a new dimention to the game)

test whether or not players can walk between maps like swamps to cordon and back (using multi map scripting for online play, maybe a game limitation)

binocular script for enemy detection and beeps (when player see's enemy through his binoculars then they will be highlighted and also a beep will sound)

detector of anomalies/artifacts script for mp (already got it in the menu for buying but it wont activate, player cannot use it in his hand)

adding extra custom weapons into mp (if i find how to do this there will be much more weapons to choose from)

check for head particles :) (that sounds insteresting doesnt it?, for when player gets shot in the head, skull fragments will also show, not just brains and blood)

change settings for weapons like the shotgun for blowing people accross the room:) (higher power weopons like shotgun at close range, or the guass rifle should have more kick to the players enemy)

Hi, it is free roam mode. No interactions at present with NPC's. I have uploaded a version without the mutant spawn scripts for the time being to show off the mod. This version has all full size maps that you and many friends can explore/hide:) I have merged this with soProject and am working on version 2.0 currently. DO NOT TRY TO MERGE YOURSELF unless you are a coder.

Please messege me personally with requests for the mod, ideas, testing willingness, and server hosting willingness. No messeges for "how to fix soProject mod as I have already done this with Nato Invasion. (apart from the steam version). My mod will only work correctly at the moment with the retain cd version, its ok to use a no-cd crack with my mod. Nato Invasion 1.0 release soon.

Yes many problems with the original soProject and some dissappointments due to small maps and so on. I know you all want huge full size maps and the stalker universe to explore with your friends together in co-op. I also had the same dream which is why I created Nato Invasion huge expansion to soProject. This also irons out all of the issues that I have read here apart from the steam version error. This I will look into for ver 1.1

I will create my own page here on moddb soon for my conversion of soproject mod NATO INVASION as it is not right to use this page anymore.
It is in version 1.0 stage and is fully ready to play but i need to do some other stuff first before release, so it will be here before xmas 2013 :)

I will upload this mod soon for clear sky and for cop but will have to find the time for this. In the meanwhile you can read my readme file here on moddb (on the soproject site). My personnal circumstances have changed during the time i created this mod when i was studying software development and now i am working and traveling alot so i will have to set aside some time for not only uploading but also contacting original devs, modders, making a realease web page, start on the patches and version 1.1 etc.
Keep watching this though becuase i promise i will do this. Thanks.

Hi thanks for your interest in the mod. I saw what alex was trying to achieve in his soproject mod and i expanded on this on a huge scale with my Nato Invasion mod by including full size multiplayer maps (as u may have noticed on vanilla cop that the muliplayer maps are actual cut down single player maps) I have made them full size again and added many more even bigger maps, so yes the whole of the single player full maps are there and around 20 more
I have 4 versions of the mod (2 for clear sky and 2 for cop), one of each of the versions of the mod have ai spawning scripts and one does not. The reason for the ones that dont is that there is no limit to the amount of ai u can spawn in so it is heavy on your system resources so i wanted to include a version without. So you and many friends can walk around the cop/clear sky universe and do what you want with added mutents, better textures for weapons and suits, added flashlight for exploring in the dark, night vision, better sounds, my mod also uses the absolute nature and absolute atmosphere mod as well which is already pre-installed. Bodys stay much longer, you can run much further and faster, jump higher and faster (within reason), trully I loved the stalker series of games so i wanted to create my own universe of it:) which is why i crammed in so much into the mod. The thing is i did this for me and my friends for lan parties and was not inteneded for release due to the including of many other peoples work into my mod. I have relised though after many people contacting me that people do want this also due to there own love of stalker.

For anyone that is wondering what my mod (NATO INVASION) or STALKER CO-OP (soproject) is about then it is for mp lan parties or tunggle/hamatchi based mp. But also can be played/explored (like vanilla mp) on your own with no other players. So the scripts the soproject do is to spawn mutants/npcs onto the maps that it has been coded for, maps that havent been coded in this manner will run but not spawn in mutants/npc's. Adds another dimention to stalker :)

Im not sure yet whether i will develop this further as my personal circumstances have changed but if i do then i will be trying to implement both the feedback ideas of my testers as well as the future versions list i have created at the bottom of my readme. As we all know stalker GSC is now none existant and it is up to the modders to create new content :)
I have created 3 mods infact, depending on which version u want to try there is a Clear sky version and 2 Call of pripyat versions (one with mutant and npc spawning and the other without). The reason for 2 COP versions is because of testing purposes, and although one of my versions include the scripts for mutant/npc spawning it is only for the maps that where originally done by STALKER co-op, although there is many more maps u can play and lots of other changes that every stalker would love. The scripts for npc/mutant spawning has a massive impact on performance for lower end pc's like my own :( I get a new better pc soon:) However the unscripted version is great for all pc's. The scripts for spawning adds a life like dimension to the mp and i can see where your enthusiasm for this to be developed further lies, as this essentially is the startings of a fully fledged COOP mp potential. i.e you and a mate can explore the zone together like never before, and indeed with my mod this is being done! The unscripted version is basically just the same as mp online but massively expanded i.e full size maps (not just a small section of one map etc) Other key features include - torch for mp, detector, full size maps, new textures for all mp players and weapons, new sounds for weapons, ingame mp music (actually stalker music from all the stalker series) custom configs for the mp experience etc.
OK anyway, hope this wets the appitite and i will start looking to upload the 3 versions with full instructions and readme's etc, once i have done this i will messege u again.
