Amazing mod, not only as a technological demo of what the GoldSrc engine can do but it's perhaps one of the most polished and innovative horror mods to date. While there are some cheap scares here and there, the atmosphere, build ups and general design of the enemies are unique and weird, which is of course a wonderful thing.

Cry of Fear really manages to hold onto player's emotions pretty well and really does a great job of pacing it. It doesn't throw you all the time into fear and gives necessary breaks to avoid being repetitive like a lot of triple A popular horror mods.

Despite having combat, it's horror can equal to Amnesia and Penumbra, and that's saying a lot.
Co-op feels a bit rushed and clunky, but still manages to be fun with friends, and has the potential to be amazing through future patches.

Another great mod by a great team, the years for creating it is truly worth it.
